I bought an Ihome speaker years ago that had both the input and an output jack. The output allowed me to do the same as this module does, but they dont sell that type of speaker any longer. You could turn any stereo into a bluetooth system instantly. Thanks for sharing this item.

I use these to add Bluetooth audio to old tube console stereos. They usually have a line in for a tape player you can use for input. Range on mine is about 15 feet.

Hey man i have this module and here are some things I have found.. The battery connection points are directly connected to the 5v or vbus of the type c connector..so don't connect type c and battery at the same time..also the module will only work upto 3.7v as mentioned and when the battery voltage will be approaching 3.7v it will say low battery and keep saying in certain intervals..also you can directly use 5v on the battery solder pins to power the module too..but verify this once after connecting type c and measuring the voltage at the battery pads and i think it will show the usb voltage :)

I didny know that and I didnt check when lipo battery is connected to board when type c usb is plug in the battery will get 5v and that its not safe at all😠

@Hacktuber yeah.. problem with Chinese stuff..good and bad..also if you use battery it won't be discharged fully so the battery won't get used to it's maximum capacity as the module turns off below 3.7v ..so better to use a low current boost converter to boost the voltage to 5v and use it with battery given that the battery has a protection circuit..i am using it this way..lasts way longer than using battery directly

ATTENTION!! If a lithium battery is connected to this device, do not use its USB port. The board delivers 5v to the battery and will end up destroying it, it may even cause a fire. It must be powered by USB or with a battery with its own charger, never use both options at the same time.

either the left VU meter on your JVC boom box is not working or the device is only outputting to the right channel, or, there is a problem with the RCA-3.5 cable

There are Bluetooth transmitter modules, but you need to pay attention to the audio quality, many cheap modules transmit audio with low quality and is not stereo.

Thinking can use this to add Bluetooth at the AUX jack in the gen 2 Prius. Wondering if I hardwire in a power supply, what the quietest most cost effective way is to use that will last a long time like ideally the life of the car? The 12V to whatever USB output plug in PSUs are so noisy.

I guess you can power this from the car using a DC-DC voltage converter which takes 12VDC input and have adjustable output from 1.5V up to about 11VDC. This should be available from aliexpress, too. There are also 12VDC to 5VDC fixed voltage converter as well. Alternatively, you can also use a USB charger that plugs in cigarette socket to give 5VDC through the USB port.

I wondered about that too, as the right channel V.U. meter is moving and left is not, In 99% of cases I have found if it's mono then it comes out of left channel only, could be mono only or perhaps it's a fault with the cable or the boombox? Further testing would be helpful
