I am probably going to pick one of these up. I have been involved in the custom GameCube controller scene for a little while so I'm very familiar with craneslab and know they are good people. But I'm having a hard time pulling the $260-$360 trigger since I don't really need another box but I want it.

That's sick. I quit Melee but I still play casually on my Frame 1 and play Street Fighter on a Snackbox Micro, I might pick one up

Street Fighter about to go crazy with this

Interesting if you're into fighters a lot and don't want to use a keyboard, but I'd rather have a gamepad and just add a few extra buttons on to that. Although, I don't really use that many buttons in most games, and really would only need an extra 2 to 4 buttons. That said, I hope they succeed because we definitely need more wacky controllers.

I really hope its kickstarter goal is met. I really want this thing

Also good for folk who struggle or are unable to hold a controller

This has the potential to be the best controller. As long as we can use every button as unique buttons on the PC, I'm sold.

Professional Customisers and artists are going to love this.

I found a cool controller myself called the surge switchpad. It's one heck of a controller I picked it up for $40 and it works for switch,xbox1,android,Amazon tvs. It works just like a pro controller but the modes when powering on make it godlike. Posting modes for others that may have this controller ( please note mode swapping only works when holding the home button to power on) Home+Y =switch mode Home+b = xbox 1 mode Home+A = amazon tv mode Home+X= Android mode

Thanks Kevin for this video. Justin Wong horribly explained this, and the smash player was really just discussing it in sf6 terms. Even though you're not a pro player, you are a pro in discussions and this talked about the controller instead of me watching a people play the game almost exclusively

If you add a few more, you'll have a keyboard.....

Think it would be dope to cover the new adaptive controller from Playstation! Maybe compare to XBox?

I just want analog sticks and a controller body. We need more buttons in gaming

I like the joystick style better. Used to the arcade. Barly went then. odd chance of even playing a game. Can pull up down faster with this controller thou.

Hitbox can't sue them now due to the obviously different patterns

These types of controllers are called button boxes or all-button controllers. Calling them leverless is a bad idea because you are naming them based on what they don't have, rather than what they do have.

Would this be good for disabled gamers?
@PhaythGaming Жыл бұрын
Depending on the disability, sure. Ability is such a broad and complex topic. There are some people, though, that I’m sure this would help.

Definitely for those that cannot grip a controller

What games are recommended with this controller ?
@mattsamperi3341 Жыл бұрын
2d Fighting games like street fighter, guilty gear, platform fighters like smash bros, any game for speed running, platforming games, etc.
@robotninja530 Жыл бұрын
I believe they're called Hit Boxes
Жыл бұрын
Kinda but not really. Hit Box is a company that popularised these controllers, but calling the Glyph a Hit Box is like calling White Castle "a McDonald's". These types of controllers are better referred to as leverless, or (especially in the Smash world) digital.
@robotninja530 Жыл бұрын
@ That may be the technical term, but just as escalator is to "moving stairs", you'd get more results searching for hit box over leverless

The beanie schtick in every video is WAY past played-out at this point. It's bordering on clownish.
