Its my first market since June and I'm selling all the pumpkins, dried flowers, and arrangements I've been planning for since Spring. As usual, life gets chaotic and it's a race to get everything done and work around a sick baby. Never a dull moment in flower farming!
Want to turn your love of growing flowers into a side hustle? My newest ebook shows you all the behind-the-scenes business and marketing info you need to know to get your new flower farm off the ground.

the shot around 5 min. into the video would have made a great thumbnail! such a nice spread behind you and beautiful natural lighting. I love how the flowers are so colorful and rainbowy with most everything else in the frame being a nice soft white. What a gorgeous composition!

Pumpkin arrangements were lovely, Kristen. You had a good crop. Something to think about for next year…..if you have some tiny pumpkins you could stick them on a wood skewer and use them in a large arrangement. Looking forward to your next video. 😊💕

I tried one pressed flower pumpkin and didn’t like it, didn’t make any to sell. Seemed a bit too crafty diy, a customer would like the idea and do it on their own, not pay for it kinda thing. The one market I did before thanksgiving I used the ceramic pumpkins (so sick of the mess and carving of the fresh ones) and I sold a few but the price needed to be so high to cover the hard good cost. My fresh bouquets were beautiful but we had frost and I needed to bring in flowers so they were priced at $55 and I didn’t break even on those so.. yeah, definitely know your market and customer. My $15 mini dried pumpkins did great thankfully.

It’s so hard doing markets with fresh products! I envy the booths where they have inventory that doesn’t go bad in a few days!

Again and again lady I am impressed with your determination, dedication to your family and your arrangements. I remember you as "the lady with tiny pumpkin arrangements". Of course baby will get upset whenever you need time to do something, a mother can always count on that. Your pumpkins arrangements were amazing!!! To tell the truth, I don't like decoupage on pumpkins either , they're more beautiful natural :))

Thank you as always. Just out here trying my best. Yeah, it’s is interesting with the découpage pumpkins. At least now I know that the market has spoken.

How long do those pumpkins last before starting to rot with nothing holding the water? I’ve never seen that done without a vessel of some kind.
