You must have been a member of one of those apostate, break off, fundamentalist, cult groups. There is nothing "thought control" about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Its one of the most freedom promoting organizations in the world. I love the Church. Yes the Church is TRUE and REAL and OF God. He even Jesus Christ is at the Head of it.
