Portland must be awesome to ride! San Francisco has a very similar vibe and community. You should come and ride with BAESK8 when you are in the Bay Area. Alien Rides is one of our more famous members and he just opened PEV Works in San Francisco. It is a great shop for PEV repairs. PEV Works also has Wing Mods LLC inside the same space. Wing Mods LLC is modifies Boosted Revs to be the machines people really wanted (40MPH/40 mile range). There are multiple PEV retailers in the area (i.e. MinimotorsUSA for your Dualtrons, and Last Mile SF which is also Boosted USA). Once you are here in the Bay Area you can also visit Onewheel in Santa Cruz.

Coz this is how American democracy worked. Except someone from the leadership has really long view for 10 yrs+ but hey the city and county and state officials only covers 4 years so why these officials should spend tax money on sth that the taxpayer cannot see within 2 to 3 years. Same thing to Santa Monica banning rideshare scooter coz there is no enough infrastructure for those. You usually see 5 bikers a day now it's 100 scooters combining with tourists from all over the world knew nothing abt local rules and law, it is troublesome and confronted by local residents. The city officials are elected by local residents so they have to address this urgently until the state/federal kicks in saying no we want more green so you have to deal with it even without infrastructure improvement. I'm glad the pandemic hit the tourist coz 2019 was really chaotic for the ride share scooter riders in town. Everyone hates them. Now not so much since most tourists stsy on beach and no one from local reallly go into beach side
