Why This Woman Goes to Prison to Teach Yoga

Once a week, yoga teacher Chanda Williams walks through the gates at San Quentin Prison with her yoga mat under her arm to teach a class. She’s an instructor with the Prison Yoga Project, a non-profit organization that brings the ancient practice behind the walls of correctional facilities across the world to help inmates heal their trauma. Williams says it’s her way of trying to help break the cycle of incarceration many prisoners find themselves in. #InsideEdition

Wish they had this program back when I was serving out my 10 year stretch. I just started joining the wife for yoga classes on KZbin and it's been amazing. Incredibly calming and relaxing, my Lower back feels better all around I'm a yogi now. 🤙

@@3peat814 yoga is helping me stay young and flexible. It's an incredible low impact workout. Mixed with any other training your gonna see yourself improve. For me its about the hips and keeping a good core balance so I can easily knock out a negative loud mouth. Yoga will not make you soft.

Not only in prison but parents should teach yoga online youtube to ur kids first is clean ur body intoxicating by doing take water put in ur nose then alom velom and few more tec don't go deep there is alot all u need is just give half hour morning when sun rises and being parent give gud things in ur kids give them love and see what gud for them bgive them gift pet let them love keep them busy and do ur daily life enjoy life all at the end the purpose is u should be peaceful mind and body make ur life simple .
