FWIW, I am not a Brady fan: Jameis Winston threw 30 TDs and 30 INTs. The TDs tell you that the receivers have to be decent. Do you think Tom Brady will throw more TDs? I'd bet he will. Do you think Brady will throw fewer interceptions? I'd bet Brady's INT # will be lower. Winston is known for making bad decisions in life, and on the field. His TD and INT stats don't include the bad decisions that just resulted in 3-and-outs. Brady had made some pretty good decisions over a long career. Brady may convert those 3-and-outs to longer drives and greater scoring chances. Brady certainly will have a lot of pressure to show that he had a lot to do with NEP success, not just Belichick. Tampa probably was the best choice Brady could make.

I’ve always loved Brady since his Michigan days. I never understood his senior year nor his 6th round 198th? Or 199th pick? Only to go on to win 6 freaking Super Bowls!? Come on man! Bill totally screwed the Patriots and with all the controversy surrounding the team it’s best Brady moves on.. I’m stoked to see what’s going to happen at Tampa though.. usually people follow teams not players. But no one can deny the hard work and dedication Tom Brady has put in to be the best ever. The only player EVER to get 5 Super Bowl rings was Charles Haley (linebacker) but he played for the two biggest teams back in late 80’s early 90’s, the 49ers and the Cowboys. I wish Brady much success and hope he helps Tampa take it all the way. That would be amazing first year there..

If you're a local fan you always question the decision to leave your fans but a lot of the greats did so late in their careers. Montana, Peyton, Favre, Namath, Warner, ect. It's because management needs to think long term and players see that as a lack of confidence in them. So they feel the need to prove their worth even if that's with a different team. It's more business than personal. I will say this though, if Brady somehow takes the Bucs to a conference championship game or beyond it would remove all doubt as his tag as the GOAT, if you had one to begin with. The Pats have some serious shoes to fill, and they know it.

Other players have openly said that if Brady made an error in practice Ball Breaker Bill would call him out like anyone else.
