I'm with you, Don. When I'm hiring staff, I first look for humility and someone who is a problem solver that can self-teach/learn.

You've gotta know the flavor of Rockstar you're working with. Phil Jackson is a Rockstar who managed a Rockstar. Guess what that Rockstar did, created more Rockstars in various areas on the team. We know that things weren't always perfect behind the scenes but what ever is? They did deliver, consistently, as a team of Rockstars. Why waste greatness with humility if the entire team becomes better? Sure, they could be considered rescuers but give them their due, they are definitely Rockstars in their own right.

So you mean talents ( rockstars ) are useless? Bad employers? Or if I'm a company owner, I should only hire people who worse than me, so that they will only be my problem solvers, not pointing out the problem which maybe I don't know?
