Why Tsunade is My Favorite Hokage in Naruto

This is a video I enjoyed making as it was about a character I really enjoyed talking about. Tsunade is such an often overlooked and slept on character. So I wanted to raise more awareness on her accomplishments and the development she's had throughout the years. I hope you all enjoy.

She is also my favorite character in Shipudden. The problem with Kishimoto is that she didn’t gave Tsunade more arsenal compared to the other 2 Sannin. She could have more of a slug based techniques and attacks or even slug sage mode alongside the 100 healings. Also, so sad that they cancelled the idea of her fighting Pain during the invasion in Konoha to show her prowess worthy of the title being Hokage 😢

Yeah I do wish that Tsunade was given more of an arsenal to work with when it came to her ninjutsu. I feel like it would have been awesome to see her with more stuff and even slug sage mode. Thanks for commenting!

Orochimaru was really scary when I watched Naruto as a kid but then tsunade come around give beating to orochimaru so tsunade become my favourite character after that I watch all of Naruto but I can't believe Masashi Kishimoto didn't give tsunade a happy ending 😭 why

She may not be the strongest but she did very well considering her circumstances. She took over a village in crisis through many major events like a shinobi war and was the second longest serving hokage after Hiruzen. The village was in a much better state than it was when she took over and she deserved a lot of credit.

Tsunade is such an underrated character as well as Hokage. She is a fantastic example of a well written female character as well as a realistic one. While she is strong, she is not a Mary Sue. She is a deeply broken woman that was lucky to finally meet the child of prophecy to break her bad luck streak, it's too bad she lost Jiraiya in the end though. She just can't catch a break it seems.

Overall, really well done video 👏🏾 Only thing I would say is to give our girl more credit in the strength department. Madara said up front that she was stronger than the Raikage was and she arguably did the best job of the 5 kage in that fight. So you can't really say she's "not that strong".

Her political skills during the entire shippuden but especially the beginning when everyone was tryna keep Naruto hidden was golden. He proved himself to everyone once again. Never had to prove himself to Tsunade. She knew from that Sanin battle what he could do

Love that someone shares the same opinion as i always felt as tsunade was such a amazing character very underrated and underappreciated for sure and she is my favorite female character of all time tied with faye from cowboy bebop. Her story was such a sad and realistic story for the setting of the universe she was in and why she is the way she is was understandable.

This woman made a healthcare system in a village where the leaders insisted that injured and sick should be left to die anyways because they're cannon fodders . She stripped Danzo of his powers and gave a good smack to the useless elders . Those are some feats that were not achieved by 4 previous Hokages ( Minato simply didn't get time and Hiruzen was so terrible) . These are good enough to make a really good leader . If I had to have a prime minister, I would vote for her who would look after helpless people, not some overpowered general who is not good for anything else ( they can stay as generals ) . PS: she shouldn't have sent slugs for those three geezers .

Shes also the one who trained sakura to be as overpowered as she is and as useful as she is, even not speaking on sakuras powers for a second, sakura owned a hospital the no ourrently in boruto, and this is one of the reason why besides naruto himself why so much people survived momoshiki invasion of the leaf, she has her own hospital separate from the nara clans which already existed and they work together, thats all tsunade, shes honestly the mother of the leaf

The people who blame Tsunade for Jiraiya's death are either stupid, misogynistic or both. Jiraiya chose to seek out Pain AND he chose to do it alone. He also could've probably escaped the battle but he decided to go back and confirm Pain's identity even though it might cost his life (which it did).

Tbh Jiraiya was a detective at heart . He couldn't simply sit still before he uncovered the identity of a terrorist group who might've been his own group of students!!! There was nothing Tsunade could've done to stop him , because he decided on it . Naruto blamed her not because he really believed that it was her fault, but because he was grieving and was lashing out , he was a child himself.

In itself it doesn't make sense that Naruto never has time for his family. He would have to be the Hokage who had the most time. As with his training back then, it was said and shown that he has the ability to use and save time extremely well thanks to his shadow doubles. He could easily create 10 or more doppelgangers every day to share all the work. Each doppelganger takes on a request. This means Naruto can handle 100 or 1000 requests at the same time. It's really sad that Naruto has become such a joke and probably the worst Hokage ever who can't even do the typical normal paperwork. Even Tsunade managed to do it even though she was an alcoholic and addicted to games and preferred doing something other than paperwork.

Although I love Tsunade, I really wish she didn't become Hokage. She's amazing as one, but it felt like she's the last thought. They really wanted Jiraiya and he somehow wanted her to be Hokage because he thinks her name would make her reign in politics much easie. It's not really because they think she actually sees her fit as a leader more than the other two Sannin. More than that, I feel like it was a massive stretch for Tsunade's character to think that she was ready to be Hokage when she's been retired for so many years. She should have just returned to Konoha as a medic and an active ninja going on missions again. She needs to slow it down. She never wanted to be Hokage. Jiraiya, I think, should have been Hokage. He has been loyal and active for so many years. This means... I hope Naruto stayed in Konoha with Jiraiya while Sakura went on a journey with Tsunade so she could also actually go on missions to really get better through experiences.

I get what you're trying to say and I respect your opinion. Though honestly, this video was not about powerscaling at all. You do know the pains weakness is taijutsu user and all the taijutsu users were nerfed in that pain fight tsunade giving all her chakra away to the villagers sakura no seal team guy away from the village the hyguya weren’t strong enough also kishimoto had stated he actually wrote for tsunade to defeat pain as vengeance for jiraiya but it got scraped pains abilities are to pull someone in push them away and stab them using rods if he does that to tsunade she would tank that easily !! Especially war hundred healings mode tsunade could’ve definitely defeated pain

Kishimoto has stated that he had originally planned for Tsunade to fight the lead Pain (Yahiko's body) and that the fight would end in her victory after she eventually managed to land one hit and KO him. However, Kishimoto's editor suggested against it, believing that it would take away from Naruto's fight with pain. So we can at least say that, in Kishimoto's mind, Tsunade is able to take out the Pain that fought sage mode Naruto and 6-8 tailed Nine-Tails.
