I'm not a fan of Joe Rogan's comedy, but he has earned his spot in the UFC. He has been there since the beginning and is very knowledgeable on the sport. He deserves respect more so than most of the fighters. His commentary on the fights is always spot on. If you don't like how he commentaries your fight DO Better!

I tend to like Joe Rogan. I respect his intellect and his broad base of knowledge and the world around him. The same goes for most of his guests. The one thing that always looms is something I heard that echoes in my mind, "You can become big, rich and famous but to enter into the realm of the super rich there is a real price they have all paid and a real club that you swear into with a life oath. I doubt that $100 million contract put him at that door but I'm sure his brain is one they would like to have on their side. Every guy is mad at Joe because at one time or another they've been clipped with a moderately clean shot and can hear Joe's voice tell the world from just outside the octagon, ""Ohh, he's hurt He hurt him with that one. He's hurt bad.". And they all wanted to turn and go, "No, I'm not. Don't be telling everyone I'm hurt bad! Why do you always have to say that,?"

In the UFC, you can never knee an opponent in the head if at least one hand is touching the ground, or they are fully down, even if both fighters are grounded. One Championship allows knees to grounded opponents, though. Demetrius Johnson got caught with one and it was a sad moment, especially considering he possibly totally forgot about the rule in ONE.
