You should try the UV on some coral! Some corals make fluorescent proteins that will absorb UV and emit a longer wavelength like green. I’m jealous you live by coral:)

@@OceanPancake it definitely works during the day lol but idk if the daylight will be too bright to see the coral fluorescence but it’s probably worth a try. You should let me know if you can see it during the day if you ever try:) I need to live vicariously

Yes... They're not cheap! But the orca torch lights I bought 5-7 years ago are still going strong. So at least it's a long term purchase?

Can't say. Where I live we don't have Coral. I do Quarry Dives. Vis is Bad in some.

I gotta say, I was wondering how those nat geo docs with Sir David Attenborough are so vibrant! The Diving Torch! (apropos English title for the light that flashes) So, current diving footage without the filming torch is essentially a Michael Mann or Zack Snyder film, minus the sheen and sharpness, of course! 🌐🗺🎬📷📸🕯💡🔦🌊💧🐟🐠🦈🐬👀🤿 🪸 🪸 🪸 🫧🫧 I do wanna learn how to magically disperse fish with a hand wave!👋👋🤿

You need lights to bring out the vibrant colours from Underwater! Otherwise it definitely looks way more dull and green / blue. But the colours are hiding!
