No, we're just sounding like the well trained medical professionals that we are. Neither me, nor anyone on my channel, has ever claimed to be a physician or that we are equivalent. However, I do have to question if you truly understand the level of training a PA receives? And if we sound like physicians, it is because we are trained in the medical model, sharing several classes with med students, and most often, especially in family practice, take complete care of our own patient panel that a physician never sees.

Thanks Michele! A great topic for discussion. There is certainly a lot of debate on this issue. You certainly and accurately describe the legal method of getting our title changed! I am seeing a number of PA professional associations change their title to physician associate, ie: Academy of Physician Associates in Cardiology, and of Course, American Academy of Physician Associates. It is sort of a chicken and egg thing, is it not? Onward and upward!
