Balaji sir in made easy explain that 10 % margin was kept earlier for safety purpose but now due to improve in technologies 400kv , 765kv are transmitted.

Yes sir we agree for these .sir what about 50kv,70kv.by adding of 10%drop then the voltage became 55kv and 77kv.but why we dont use .still question mark?

But at receiving end we also get 11kv 33kv 220kv only. So Neither this method nor form factor method is correct. Actually ther is no such logic exist.

Sir this reason is wrong, I answered this in pgcil interview and they said it is not correct. Later I checked, then I found this is incorrect and also form foctor concept wrong

I think it's not reason. What about 400 and 765 kv. At the receiving end we also get approximately equal voltage to sending end.

Why not this 10% margin kept for 40K, 50K, 70K, 80K,100K and many more... sinusoidal wave in the terms of forma factors seems more correct explanation upto certain extent...because if transmitted waves are sinusoidal then losses will be less than if waves are distorted
