Over 70 percent of DRC mines are owned by China. The problems for DRC will won't end with their neighbors. While Multinational companies run operations that ignore the locals and their way of life. For example pollution that ruins rivers and farmlands of substance farmers which extends to livestock. That's why you will keep on having armed groups and corrupt Politician which will equal poor governance. Currently right now the political class in DRC is trying to divert attention of DRC people with war. Just like many countries in around the globe when times are tough. It's always been like that. Over time the amount of conflict is actually decreasing. Then years ago there was already conflict in Congo + Mali + central African republic + a major conflict in Syria and Iraq + Afghanistan+ Colombia... 20 years ago Iraq, Congo Georgia, Chechenya Afghanistan Colombia... 30 years ago Yougoslavia+ Khoweit, countless conflicts in Africa (Algeria, Somalia...)... 40 years ago Iran-Iraq, Lebanon, Falklands, Afghanistan... I could go back decade by decade and each decade would be worst than the previous (except for 40s and 10s which were way worse). Some areas like Somalia, Congo, Colombia, Israel, Cashmere etc are in continuous conflicts. The point is that the situation is not too bad from a historical standpoint

Some of the things that should have also been mentioned in the video: 1. M23 is not attacking for the sake of attacking. They are protesting against the continued killings of Congolese Tutsis. 2. M23 had an agreement with the Congolese government that never got implemented. M23 high ranking members were housed in Kinshasa by the government for 14 months in 2020. All the while they were supposed to discuss the implementation of the agreements. The rebel group decided to take matters in their own hands when they noticed the government had no intention to maintain their end of the bargain. 3. The Congolese army is working hand in hand with the rebel groups they claim are a nuisance to the country. Their main partner is FDLR fighters who are remnants of “Interahamwe.” The militia that committed the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda in 1994. 4. M23 has asked for peace talks ever since the beginning of the hostilities but the government has refused despite being the weaker side. 5. The East African Armed Forces deployed in Congo were not there to fight M23. Their mandate was to create buffer zones between the army and the rebel group. The central government was hoping this force would deviate from their mandate and fight M23.

At 7:00 it should be said that EAC troops were not sent there to fight with M23, but to oversee an ordered withdrawal of the different armed groups, including M23. They were not to side with the DRC government troops either. The DRC Government tried to push them to fight with M23, which all the EAC governments categorically refused, except Burundi, which secretly sent troops to fight against M23 in DRC Government troops military fatigues.

I would argue Burundi has more works in militias than Rwanda does. From RED Tabara and all of these little rebel groups even inside their own country. If Kagames plan is to take over eastern DRC, why would he not start with Burundi? That country is basically a worse version of Rwanda, and the people are ethnically the same. That’s why the U.K. Supreme Court rejected it twice. Basically it’s about Kagame’s ethno-territorial imperialism of eastern Congo for its resources. Nothing to do with immigration. Why do you think Rwanda was so keen on the immigration plan, despite it being such a small country? It’s about Eastern Congo. Congolese intelligence have evidence that Kagame had used or was planning to use the deported immigrants from the U.K. as soldiers to brutalise the Congolese on their own land and use immigrants’ children as child soldiers to systematically displace and weed out the Congolese natives from their land. The Congolese authorities/intelligence reported it to the British embassy in Kinshasa who then reported this to U.K. government and authorities. So the Supreme Court rejected it because it was trying to protect the UK’s geopolitical/ international reputation. It’s evident by the Tory divide, infighting, resignations, ECHR and now Sunak’s lost majority that certain ministers can’t get behind the Rwanda plan; it’s too scandalous for the U.K. to be involved in. However, I get the impression most brits think the Supreme Court decision was about taking the piss out of the public. It wasn’t. The Congolese president already warned the British that if they try it (go ahead with the plan), Congo has the right to defend its territory, even if it means, getting rid of Kagame himself. The tories are in on it because they were promised a cut of Congo’s resources from Rwanda, if Rwanda is successful in taking over Eastern Congo. In other words, big 💰🤑🤑🤑 U.K. government is colossally corrupt. That’s why British politics needs urgent reform. The DRC has drastically increased its military power in 2 years through the purchase of haute technology weapons that the U.K. currently can’t even afford. The army are now very well trained which is why they’re nervous about Congo’s position because it’s prepared to attack anyone who antagonises it. The Congolese have been brutalised enough and they’re standing up for themselves. If you’re wondering how I know so much, I’m Congolese and I keep up to date daily with what’s going on there from reliable political sources. It’s not on the mainstream media because why would the West report on the failure of its puppet Rwanda?? The tables have turned drastically - in a good way. In the next 2 weeks, the Congo will have its first ever democratically run election, free of western agents, because of their self-determination and telling the west and Kagame “Enough is enough”. The military wing of the UN have been ordered by the president to leave by end of December because not only was it useless, but at times showed favouritism towards Congo’s opponents.

It crucial to understand that what is happening in DRC and Great Lake region at large is not about FDLR neither is it only about mineral but rather it about Tutsi conquest mindset of trying to establish the hima-Tutsis empire in that region. Before they carry the mission into Congo they had to bring in the late assassinated Kabila from Tanzania to Pursue mobutu, however for kabila to get the support that he needed he was given conditions to follow by the USA and both Rwanda and Uganda the conditions were once Kabila successfully become president he was going to annex both south and north kivu and hand them to the Tutsi tribe to rule over them or in another word to form their own country in the middle of the Great Lakes region, then kabila asked them how are they going to archive this goal of annexing the kivu provinces and hand them to the Tutsi when there are already people living in them? Both Kagame and museveni responded by saying that they are going to expel the people in those land with guns as they run away the Tutsi people will come in and claim the land and their property. much like what is happening in Palestine. Trying to explain the dynamics of Eastern DRC can be as confusing as hell. Even the other East Africans get confused. Do note, the M-23 gets support from Kagame because it is made up of the Banyamulenge who are native Tutsi speakers in the DRC. Hutus are not native to that region but because 2 million Hutu refugees moved there after they did a genocide in 1994, they have a militia group (FDLR). Native Congolese do not like the Hutu dominated FDLR but also accuse the Banyamulenge of being upatriotic for supporting M-23 to the point that the Banyamulenge are even called Rwandans(they definitely are not, even though they speak Kinyarwanda, which, do note, is also spoken by Hutus and everyone in Burundi as the native language) because the M-23 basically refuse to integrate other native Congolese into their militia (there like 50 ethnic groups in that region alone). Also in Ituri ,M-23 has been expanding into ADF territory, and here is the interesting part. In that war, they and the Congolese Government as well as Uganda are all on the same side against the Islamists. It makes for a confusing mesh. Add to the fact that there are Pastoralist groups taking advantage of the ADF vs Uganda government, DRC government, M23 conflict to expand into Bantu agricultural areas in North Ituri, you can see why even the East Africans are pulling troops from the DRC now.

A very wise Nelson Mandela asked the General of the South African army to evaluate this request. After an in-depth analysis, they General came back with a cost-benefit analysis that stated any involvement would be way too expensive on the economy and the results will very likely be a stale mate. Nelson Mandela did not get involved in the DRC. . . With the lure of gaining control of the mines, Mugabe (president of Zimbabwe) decided he would take on the DRC on his own. It is this exact war in which Zimbabwe got involved that triggered their hyper inflation and resulted in the systematic implosion of Zimbabwe's economy. . . But today South Africa has some seriously incompetent leaders and I truly hope they don't make the same mistake as Zimbabwe. The minerals on the East of the DRC are simply NOT WORTH GOING TO WAR. . . The DRC itself is truly messed up. The minerals of the east are mined and wealth goes to the people of the west while the people in the east continue struggle to make ends meet. Perhaps it is indeed time for the DRC to break up. . Let the DRC and Rwanda duke it out and let them get to a new state of power balance where the DRC does not harbour Hutu militia who are constantly regrouping and making cross-border raids into Rwanada.
