One of the things I realized wearing tzitzit is that it can start a conversation to bring to truth other believer who dont know much of the scripture. When they see you wearing one, they will ask " what is that you are wearing?" This will be a good opportunity to tell them the truth or to spread the gospel.

Ome of the first things that came to my mind was the fact that an unbeliever might see you with it and it could be a conversation starter and could end up leading somebody to Faith. They might ask you why you have it and you could just tell them that it's a reminder of the Covenant I have with the almighty Elohiym. It reminds me to keep his Commandments. You never know where that could take you in a conversation

According to Hebrew grammar, when addressing a group of men and women, the masculine noun is used. so, b'nei israel could apply to a group of men OR men and women. And like you said, many other commands use b'nei israel, and those commands apply to everyone.

This is a great video! It seems like you’re moved by the Ruach and I pray that’s the case. I’m just a yeah into waking up to all the lies and perversions of religion, christianity and black American’s history. For the first time in my life I’m reading the bible and learning TONS. I’m trying to get away from the man made traditions and be obedient to YAH’s scriptures so I’m new to the Tzit tzit. Thank you for this teaching!

What does the tzitzit go on? A scarf? Can the scarf be any colour If Yahshua is YHWH in flesh form and He says we must do the things He said previously then ... Do the commandments! Dum dum duuuuuur! Belief = faith = trust = obey = love "If you love me you will do my commands" Praise YHWH forever
@eliyahministries3 жыл бұрын
Any four cornered garment. A scarf will be fine, in my opinion, but it would need to be worn at all times. Ideally it's on a tunic or other covering garment.

I have just made four tassels, and I am wondering: what are some good ways to attach them to your clothes? Should I attach them to my T-shirt, my pants, my belt, or something else? What do I do if my shirt doesn't have four corners? What do I use to attach my tassels to my clothes? I am new to tzit tzit, and I would greatly appreciate an answer. Thanks!
@eliyahministries3 ай бұрын
Some use safety pins to attach them to their garments and that's recommended if there is a risk of your tassel getting caught in machinery. Others tie them to the belt loops of their pants. I buy shirts that are "vented," which do have four corners and my wife sews the tassels onto the corners.

Hi brother! I saw this at the bottom of the link you provided in the description: "PLEASE DO NOT USE NAVY BLUE when making your sets." Is navy blue the wrong shade of blue? Thanks, brother! :)
@eliyahministries2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the correct shade is seen in this video. Archaeology shows that it's more of a blue jean color.

It's the New Englishman's Hebrew and Greek Concordance. If you look up a Hebrew or Greek word, it will tell you where that word is found in various scripture verses.

You will notice in the original there is no 'throughout' or 'all' in the verse. It was for the current audience's generation. Although nothing wrong with wearing them, they are from the broken covenant -wilderness, added-on laws, and not part of the original covenant to which we are returned by the final sacrifice of Yahusha. [Ezekiel 20:25] [Since 1990 - would be time to learn the Father's true name as well.]

Why not on the belt. You mentioned the bible text about the four corners of the earth. Isn't it better to wear them on the fout belt keeping strings, than not wearing them at all?
@eliyahministries6 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's better than not wearing them at all. But it's still not quite doing what is instructed.

Just started wearing tzitzit and my boss said it was a safety issue and said I have to take them off or tuck them in. Is it ok to tuck them in?
@eliyahministries9 жыл бұрын
+Sean Richard Nothing in scripture says you can't. However, if you attach them using smallish safety pins, the safety pins are usually not strong enough to pull a human body into machinery if the tassels get caught in something.
@brotherseanrichard9 жыл бұрын
I was using the snaps from tzitzit in a snap but the safety pin idea might work.thanks for the reply

@eliyahministries5 жыл бұрын
When footballs were first made, they were made of pig skin, but it was learned over time that cowhide was better. They are now all made from cowhide.

Here is one place that indicates the commandment is not literal. Exo 13:15-16 - And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that Yahweh killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to Yahweh all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.' 16 "It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand Yahweh brought us out of Egypt." It doesn't say to wear them so that they are frontlets, but to keep them "as" a sign on your hand and "as" frontlets between your eyes, which means we need to be in our minds (between our eyes), and to be completed with our actions (as a sign on your hand), thus we put them into practice both mentally and physically.

I am a Gentile and to start abiding by Jewish tradition I am going against the teachings of the New Covent, I'm not going to wear any tassels. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Funny how in Pauls day there were jews trying to force Gentiles into Jewish customs and even Peter was rebuked for it by Paul. History repeats itself once again
@eliyahministries6 жыл бұрын
We do not believe that it is Jewish tradition that we must follow, nor do we believe in going against the teachings in the 'new testament.' This is a commandment, not a tradition. Paul was rebuking Peter for conducting himself in such a way that caused uncircumcised Gentiles to feel as though they were not accepted as part of the body of Messiah. See the teaching on Galatians at kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKmYc2poer6AkM0
