why we all should create something that has been there before

Some years ago I read a quote about writing that claimed that everything has been said before, simply not by you. It used to irritate me but you are right, why should it stop you from creating? “Someone has smiled today but that’s no reason why I shouldn’t do the same” - it really stuck with me and showed me in a simple and funny way that yes, that’s not a reason to stop/not begin.

Wonderful video! I could not agree more. Your take on this has added to my understanding. A year ago I made a video on a similar topic. It's clumsy but it set me free to create content. I had let years go by without being myself because I was not completely original. I am totally opposed to taking credit for what others have discovered or accomplished, but as you said so well we should go ahead and bring things into our world that have been there all along. This year I want to make greater strides in sharing by overcoming fear of what people think. You are paving a path I will be following. I am sure I am not alone in feeling appreciation for your message.
