...... during my stand for marriage my church kept telling me that my husband was a lost cause and that i should move on and the pastors and the bored were like your a hot young girl you can get any guy. Then suddenly a bunch of men started attending the church and they were trying to hook me up with different guys. I didn't do it but i was being VERY manipulated and they were praying on my hurt. The church was pentacostal apostolic and the focused on signs and wonders. I kept getting warning dreams that the church was heavy in witchcraft. I got out but that really messed me up. I want to be apart of a church family but i have a nasty taste in my mouth for churches that operate in signs and wonders abd speaking in tongues and the whole "GOD" because alot of people are preying on innocent hurting people like us standers. Its truly disgusting and heart breaking.

Praying in tongues and signs and wonders can only be done by the Holy Spirit and not the people so the people walking in hypocrisy will answer for their sin to God. God is love. You are very valuable and please don’t give up on the gifts of the Holy Spirit or miracles because those gifts are from God to bless his church and we all need to hear from God and be healed.

Amen. Praise GOD for what you all are bringing to light. This is happening where the "ministering leadership" of Churches have become led by "primadona(ness') masked as Pastors, Evangelists, Music Leaders, Bible enthusiasts over the "flock". I was among that "flock" and had been saved now over 5 yrs and grew within the church to be among that Minister board. Thats when you see who really is, who they really is. A story that only a personal relationship with JESUS, a lot of prayer, a lot of forgiveness, and a tough way to understand spiritual abuse among those who are brothers and sisters in Faith that changed my spiritual life in a sudden un-forseen minute. PRAISE GOD. May you ALL be BLESSED in your day, GOD Loves you.

My daughter has bipolar and was born into the church and was handcuffed out of the same church by police because she didn't want to go to the mental hospital. This is England and the law is for the police to come if they say no to hospital but.......where were the pastoral people helping her at the time. I left the church. You are doing the right thing

Please be aware that pastoral abuse has no age limit or denomination on the part of the abused. I went through horrible abuse at the hands of both the pastor and his wife at my last church and nearly walked away from the Lord, but thanks be to God, He kept me and held me, and although it took several years, I am back walking with Him and I found another church. Also, be aware that abuse does not just occur with pastors; at my current church, it’s mostly abuse from extremely slanderous women. But thanks be to God! He brought me through the last trial, and now I know I can trust Him and lean on Him in the midst of all the trials of this life that He sees fit to provide for me. However, my heart does ache for those who have been abused because I know how absolutely devastating it is when the person or persons that you trusted turn out to be those used best used by Satan.

I worked for a well know S African church for 3 pastors, the 1 lady was very manipulating, screaming, miss perfectionist, told me it's about money, bumbs on seats, she was a b**ch😂, COVID hit, they were finish. I obviously resigned long b4 COVID. They now in school hall on Sundays, most left them, bankrupt 😊

Paul is clear in 1 Corinthians 5: But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”[d]
