Spot on.....Try explaining this to the average American and watch them become offended. It is interesting how we disguise this reality from ourselves while also recognizing it on a certain level.

I love your physics video, can you plz upload it more frequently 😊😊

Yes, I'll do my best - I have plenty of ideas and I work on a number of projects at the same time. That's why you might see a wave of more general videos (like this one) or film analysis videos and then a wave of Physics videos. Thanks for the feedback and after I complete my next run of videos I'll make sure to prioritise the Physics videos. It is my favourite subject to tackle on this channel :)

While it's true that not everyone can become rich, this isn't because wealth is exponentially distributed - that has nothing to do with it. Only in Lake Woebegone can all people be above average. Exponential distribution of ANYTHING fungible is a result of statistics, not economics, although in the US we do have more impediments to becoming wealthy than we used to (most of which are the result of policies which were supposed to do the opposite, but which never get changed even though they are destructive). I'm pretty sure that none of the 100 richest people were born on that list, so it is possible to get rich - there's just a lot of luck involved, along with hard work. Also, envy is listed as one of the 7 deadly sins for a good reason.

Very good summary, it made me subscribe to your channel. I have constructive criticism though: from the video I understand that excessive ambition dominates all other problems. It is an issue, but inequalities are the number one problem in economics (and maybe also regarding the environment). Therefore, a reasonable bit of ambition can be healthy, in order to combat the excessive inequality issue.

If we went on a date would you be happy with a big mac and 🍟 fries?
@LondonCityGirl5 жыл бұрын
Hahaha, probably not on the first date - not because it's cheap but it signals a lack of effort. But it depends - if I was a teenager I would have loved it. And my husband and I treat ourselves to McD on the occasional date night and I love that. All depends on the surrounding context my friend.
