if someone can do something, let them. Otherwise it can cause that person feelings of disempowerment OR they take you for granted and can say- well you did it last time. You got your own stuff to deal with. Life can throw all kinds stuff at you. It's not good for either of you. We all here to learn and try and make mistakes and learn and try some more.

I feel this so deeply!!! I am so sensitive. Like I can something about a person's pet passing away and my heart literally aches and I start crying. I feel all the feels, even when I don't want to. I have noticed that I codify my compulsive auto-advice as "helping" and wanting to rescue or fix, when no one even asked for that!!!

i myself as life long HFC, I tried to fix my in laws housing issuing while working on our own relationship, end up in disrespected, discard, now Divorce . now i become numb on people's problem.
