Dr. Iqbal, I respect your views a lot but let me tell you my own story. In my family, I was the one who never kept ego and worked very hard in a a non-earning father family. I earned for family as well as doing all household chores like cleaning floors, washing clothes for family, cleaning dishes and cleaning bathrooms. Basically helping both my Dad and Mom. Also I raised my younger brother with my money as well as taught him all subjects and courses till he became engineer. He never helped anybody. and yes, he has ego..a lot of it. At the end, do you know who was respected more in my own family ? My brother. I was just a money earner and my parents treated me like a junk who should never spend any money on himself but only give money to them. Their mindset was set in a way that they did not want me to spend my own money on me or my family but on them only. All this while my brother was respected for being successful and not working. Indeed the same mother who asked me to work all the time as she was old was working for my brother when I was not at home (When I was at home, I was a servant). In short I think some ego is must otherwise people do not respect you and treat you like a junk.

لیڈر کی بات ہو رہی ہے تو اس کی سب سے بڑی مثال محمد عربی صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم کی ذاتِ اقدس ہے ان سے بڑی اور بہترین مثال قیامت تک نہیں مل سکتی ہے۔ کفار مکہ نے ان کو کس کس طرح تنگ کیا تھا کہ وہ اپنے مقصد سے ہٹ جائیں لیکن قربان اس ذاتِ اقدس صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کہ وہ اپنے مقصد سے ذرا بھر بھی پیچھے نہیں ہٹے اور اپنے مقصد کو پورا کیا اور جب اللّٰہ پاک کا دین غالب کیا تو آخر میں اپنے دشمنوں تک کو بھی معاف کر دیا اس جیسے عظیم ترین لیڈر کی مثال نہ کبھی ملی ہے اور نہ ملے گی
