"I realized for the rest of my life i'm gonna need these games. And everyone that's involved in my life has to know and accept that these are a huge part of my life. And if they don't, too bad" The most important sentence for any gamer in the world.

I was bullied a lot when I was younger, from about 4th grade until maybe 9th grade. I read a lot, I wrote a lot, and I loved learning and that led people to bully me. Videogames were my way to get back at the other kids. They were my escape from troubles, from the assholes out in the world. I have so many fond memories of playing games and so many bad ones of not. I actually met my best friend with videogames. The games have always been there for me when real people haven't and for that reason I will always love gaming.

I'm with many others here in saying that I'm a bit disappointed this show won't be continuing. I just now discovered Conversation with Colin and I've been marathoning them like crazy. I like the fact that Colin has a chance to really go off and give monologues about crazy stuff. I don't feel like he has the same opportunity on the GOG show, so this series will be sorely missed. But whether this show continues or not, I enjoy your content and wish you all the best.

I started gaming to stay out of drugs and the party scene in my town ;P I always loved art, I loved writing, and I loved being entertained ;) ;) ;) So it all worked out. Gaming really started transforming for me after I bought Battlefield 3. (My first online FPS) I later joined a clan, met some guys and we've known eachother for almost 4 years now :D They're my best friends, and the only people outside my family that I consider family :) Anyways! I love gaming because of the way people can express themselves, as well as how I can express my own self through the games that I know and love to play :)

Games have their own scientific laws, goals to achieve, theorys of how the world is and what we can do with it, social interactions between characters, an explanation of a lifes purpose, an ownership of what the world has to offer, doing something directly that accomplishes a tasks....the lives inside video games are like little parallel realities we can control to an extent....our brain truly feels this stuff

Why does this have to be the last season? By far, this is the reason why I subscribed to this channel in the first place. This show should be a staple of your channel, and something you continue and modify for quite sometime. Having said that, I completely understand you wanting to change directions; or just flat out being tied of this show. It's your channel, and you obviously have the right to run it as you please. Still, I enjoy this show!

I actually thought about this myself today, why I play videogames and why I love them. And I think the keyword for me is immersion. to really immerse yourself in a world, by also using your imagination ofcourse, is what makes gaming so great for me. But also my competitive need is important through playing like poker for example, but over all I still a have to go with your answer that other then that I just don't know why I'm so attached to them. Thanks for reading. David

Greg you're not the only who played with action figures well into his teens. I think it just that some people have more of a imagination than other. Also I remember hearing somewhere that's a Dev team actually did that to come up with ideas for a game before.

I'm in the same boat as Colin, I don't know how or why I love games any more than how and why I love Star Wars, it's just been a part of my life for so long that just interests me on so many levels. While I stopped playing with action figures, I kept playing with Lego (as in creating stories with minifigs not just building) well into High School until other class mates found out and ridiculed me for it. While I don't play with them any more, I still buy the large sets to build and still get a thrill from building the complicated and challenging sets.

For me it´s pretty easy. i think when you have a big imagination, when you love stories, when you grow up with toys and cartoons. Games are all of those stuff together, cool stories with characters that can do awesome things (unreal things) and you get to control that. I agree with greg in that regard.

I like games for so many reasons, but i think the most important and obvious ones are because they allow me to be anything I can't in real life, they allow me to free my mind in them and get in world's of unbelievable structure and history, and also because of the feeling I get when I go through a tough or any kind of level really after the 100th try that; sense of achievement is just amazing. Keep doing what you'r doing, your shows and contents are getting better and better really enjoying hearing your conversations and how some parts of em relate to what i live or what I experienced although i live all away in Algeria, Africa!!! lot of Love from across the ocean!!!!

I like games because when I was a kid my parents bought my brother and I a PS1 as consolation for my dad having to go overseas for a year for work. Games are the ultimate form of entertainment. They can provide a story, they can provide competition, they can provide satisfaction and personal accomplishment, they can be a social activity, or they can just be a new and creative experience. That's not to say everyone needs all of these things from games, but at least one of these can apply to just about anyone.

I was an only child growing up and for some reason I cannot recall me and this other kid Joe were always fighting in school and I was only in first grade. One fateful day my mom and I were coming home from the store and she saw this kid riding his bike in the alley behind our house and she invited him in to play with me before I could stop her and yes I tried to stop her, but to no avail. He came inside and we played my new NES entertainment system and we played a game called Gyromite for a couple hours and all I can remember is that we couldn't stop laughing every time we would squash the guy it made this great farting sound. Joe turned out to be my best friend for the next several years until my mother made me move far away, but that is one of my first video game memories and I'm not sure if that's why I love games, but I have loved them ever since. Also I think you guys are great and I was really disappointed when you guys left IGN since it was my one stop app for news about movies and video games, but now that I found and subscribed to this I'm happy again and I know I can just watch it through youtube, but one day if this all works out good for you guys ( and I think it will) you should try to get your own app on PS4 Great work guys I love what your doing and some day soon I'll be a paying subscriber

2 questions about Conversation with Colin 1. Why are they selling out shooting this series in a loud, populated bar? Just to support that Follow the Liter series that no one really cares about since most of us don't live in California to go to the bar, are able to drink in general (being underage) or care about how to make drinks. The apartment was fine... 2. Why is this the last season of Conversation with Colin? This is what makes no sense at all. You guys quit your jobs...your youtube career is full time now...not enough people are supporting patreon or youtube to make sufficient money...along with this, the youtube business won't last forever, so why take one of the most popular series, and get rid of it? It makes 0 sense! Oreo Oration would make sense because there are limited amounts of US oreos left to review, Follow the Liter can only make x amount of drinks and who really cares about unboxings or random crap you bought? Is it that hard to record a 10 minute video of you and Colin talking from the thousands of topic ideas we submit? So why is THIS show of all things ending, makes no sense.

This is the first episode that has had background noise. More than that I think they probably enjoy getting out of their house where they now do all of their work. If you want more content you can see an hour of colin talking every day on twitch.tv/kindafunnygames, see an hour and a half of conversation on the game over greggy show every week and an hour or more of content on the Kinda Funny Gamescast every week. Between the three and this season of Conversation with Colin you should get your fill of these guys talking lol.
