They don’t call it “divide and conquer” for no reason. Americans need to wake up and understand that the divisions are being stoked for the purpose of keeping traditional hierarchies of social control intact. It’s time to challenge that paradigm because it simply won’t work in a country as diverse as the U.S. they may gain ground in the short term, but the majority of Americans don’t want to live in an apartheid, handmaiden’s tale America.

@mayarockeymoore5727 Жыл бұрын
I wish this is the case for all children but as I type this note there are parents battling to ban books representing diverse voices and working to ensure that school district lines are maintained to keep certain kids out. They are doing this at the behest of politicians who are seeking to suppress history and stoke divisions. We deserve better.
@sukyevers Жыл бұрын
It's easy for democracy to be successful and serve everyone when you have a nation that all think, look and act the same. But unfortunately for the USA - and lots of other countries - that is not how the world works and we all know there are many different opinions and desires for how the country should be run. I'm not sure who our current government think they're serving properly but it ALL needs to change.
