Really, really, really liked this one. Lots of good info, but then having you show in different stores the examples of what you are referring to as it relates to fats is awesome. I’m excited to see similar videos on different health related items. Thank you!

Hi Mandy. I am a brand new subscriber I have my notification bell on. I just have to tell you this it's so amazing. I am a lot older than you I'm 60 years old. when I watch your videos I swear to you it is like I am watching myself at a younger age I don't know exactly how old you are but I know I could take a guess and be you know within a couple years either way. But the point I'm trying to make is we have the exact same diagnosis we justh have so much in common.the way you eat is so beautiful and it's so pure and natural and filled with dense nutrients. It's just so beautiful. So I've been kind of binge watching your videos. I'll just say it one more time it truly is something I've never experienced before it's like watching myself when I was your age not that I'm any bigger than you or better than you or anything. I think your videos are done with such maturity and class and you understand illness you understand what it means to heal. your into Jesus I'm into Jesus it's just the whole thing. Anyways I hope I'm not boring you but I just am all for your healing and I think you're doing a great job.I know I'm still healing and I'm still dealing with it and sometimes there's like winds but sometimes I cant move.. But right now I'm going through a real purification and new protocol and I feel like I'm starting to feel very different so I'm so excited that I may have a true healing of this one day soon. My best to you and I'll keep you in my prayers.

Mandy, thank you for teaching us about oils - so many notes taken today!!! I have wondered for awhile now -you like grass-fed butter and also ghee. So is one better than the other? As much as I also believe it isn't good to focus on the negative (your illness), I am one that appreciates knowing how you are feeling/what you are going through. Its hard for us to understand because YOU are usually so pleasant and upbeat. Motherly advice - please take care of yourself before vlogging/answering our many questions. Thank you for being an instrument of God! Always praying for you!

Hi Pam! I just got your note and it blessed me so much. Thank you so much for taking the time to write it. 💕 Ghee can be better if there is a serious lactose / casein intolerance, but a lot of lactose intolerant people can tolerant both fine, because butter already hardly has any lactose. I personally just like to use both for different reasons. Ghee has a richer taste in my opinion, which I love in my sweet potatoes especially!

Love love love this video!! I really appreciate you going to walmart. I can't go through the grocery store right now and use the grocery pick up. Also this style was so helpful, I get so overwhelmed thinking about making so many changes especially with a diabetic husband and being a mom! I feel like tackling one piece at a time is such a great start. Thank you!

Thank you, Mandy! Very helpful info! ❤ Have you thought about making a video about preparing for a healthy holiday season while utilizing DNRS and maintaining all the wholistic treatments you are doing (mainly nutrition)? Also, on the topic of dealing with family who don't believe there's anything physically wrong and that it's all in your head? It seems you may not struggle with this, but as a Chronic Lyme patient with a history of PTSD, I've experienced this a lot. Anyways, God bless you, Mandy! You have been a huge blessing and amazing resource during my healing journey. I even bought the DNRS video package based on your recommendation. I haven't used it as in depth as I'd like, but even so, it has helped so much! Thank you! Keep up the inspiring lifestyle and outreach you are engaging in. I believe you are really going to help so many people through this redemptive story God is writing with your life. :)

Thank you so much for these videos and for always putting spirituality into it :-) I start my NTP with NTA on February 11th and I am sooooo excited. I am very passionate about nutrition and all of the healing properties REAL food truly has. I've always said, GOD has always provided us with what we need... including medicine...its in REAL Food!!! You are so young and it's crazy to see that you had all those health issues, because of today's world. God bless all these programs, schools, courses to remind us the real way to eat. I wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding preparing for the NTP courses. Should I just email them to you? - Thanks ;-)

Hi Mandy! I've been following your channel for a bit now and this is random... But I wanted to suggest listening to Caroline Leaf. If you don't know her she is a neuroscientist who preaches and shows the connection with mind, brain and body with scripture. Thought of you and wanted to let you know Incase it helps. I'm reading her book now it reminds a little of DNRS which I learned from you. Much love n prayers 🙏❤️

What a great video Mandy ❤️ May i ask more personal question - Are you able to fast during this process of your healing? We are having fast with team in church, but since im on special diet and also medicine because of my PCOS and other diagnoses my nutrition therapist is not happy with any fasting at all 🤷🏼♀️ Any tips or suggestions on this topic please ? 😊

So so glad it was helpful! Is there a certain topic you would like to hear about next?
@rebeccatyndall7886 жыл бұрын
Any topic really. I often watch your videos to see what you are eating and how you prepare things. I’ve been trying to move over to a Whole30 lifestyle to see if some of my symptoms would be alleviated. Watching you go through and look at labels was so helpful to me. Knowing the trick about dark bottles on the olive oil was brilliant! I make my own ranch-and I can make my own mayo, but would rather buy it. So I would love to see anything about how you buy what you buy, what brands are good and what might look good but really isn’t. I really enjoyed this video a lot!!

As much as I desperately want to eat healthy, it's difficult because I often don't have the energy to cook healthy food and end up eating whatever's easiest. Any thoughts on how to eat healthy when you're extremely fatigued?
@spicybiscuit886 жыл бұрын
Hiya. I have the same problem.i can cook sometimes but it will wipe me out for the day. When i do cook, i roast stuff as theres no standing. Tray bakes are pretty good- roast some chicken thighs and veggies like peppers, onions and potatoes on same tray, or at least at the same time. Also for more veggies, frozen cauli and broccoli, frozen green beans. Can just boil them then add a bit butter or olive oil and lemon juice. Id like to cook more interesting meals but havent got the energy atm. I have a slow cooker im planning on trying to cook simple stuff in that this winter as also no standing and if you get one with a timer you can chuck the stuff in, set it then go to bed . Also frozen berries are really nice, good for you and cheaper than fresh. I dont drink smoothies because im sensitive to sugar but if you are ok with it then they might be good way of getting some nutrients in when you are really exhausted. Xx

Great video so interesting- i cook with 'rapeseed' oil sometimes- is this the same as canola oil? Im in the UK maybe its just a different name. Im going to focus more on extra virgin olive oil i think. I went on a weight loss course once led by a dietitian and she was very anti-saturated fats like in meat, and coconut oil, so it seems there might be conflicting evidence out there perhaps. Id really like to eat more like you- i think i'll do a meal plan tomorrow. I tried to go mostly vegan in the last couple weeks as i do believe in the ethics of it, but eating tonnes of carbs and pulses just doesnt suit my body at all, and it was exhausting cooking, and i dont even really like pulses except for hummus lol. Ive realised i cannot sacrafice my health and wellbeing(and enjoyment of food) trying to be super ethical. Like im sure plant based diets are great for some people but not for me. Thanks for the info i appreciate it! 💜 xx
@honerdcouster87236 жыл бұрын
It's called canola because of that unfortunate name..hopefully non gmo which means more herbacide.
@honerdcouster87236 жыл бұрын
Olive oils you need to spend alot or you take your chances. Hazelnut oil I hear is good.
@MandyMeehan6 жыл бұрын
Yes! Rapeseed is the same as canola. Yeah...there is still a lot of controversy on saturated fats. The registered dietician program is pretty strongly anti-saturated fat so a lot of dietitians think that too. How did you feel being mostly vegan? I totally get it if you have a strong conviction there. And yes, the common vegan diet of so many carbs and grains can be rough!

I am very much against CAFO farming, but love learning about how things can be done regeneratively. I love getting to support farmers who raising animals for us to be healthier, and to support the environment as well. Again, I totally support you if you don’t feel comfortable with consuming certain animal meats, but I wanted to share a good resource in case it may be helpful.

How do you feel about coconut oil vs olive oil and plant based diet? Im asking because my health as gone down alot after going all plant based so im trying pescetarian to see if it will help
@MandyMeehan6 жыл бұрын
I think coconut oil and olive oil are both great for different reasons. I use both, but right now I use olive oil more! Plant based diets can be very carb heavy/grain heavy, and a lot of people have problems tolerating grains. It might be worth looking investigating some foods you are commonly consuming, that are often issues for people, (such as gluten, soy, corn, excess fruit, etc.) I personally am a big fan of high quality animal products, as there are certain nutrients that you can only get from animals, and certain that are much more bio-available. Wild caught seafood is great. 🙌🏽

@@MandyMeehan after watching alot of your videos again I did go out and get some of the meats that you use! Most of my friends are vegan and I tried it but it just dosnt work for me I also think soy is something im sensitive too. Yes! There are some interesting studies on that one’s benefits (when used raw, it shouldn’t be used cooked). I’m not convinced it’s worth using yet, because I’m pretty certain it is mostly omega 6 fats.
