Thank you for sharing your personal and challenging story. It takes courage to make yourself so vulnerable. I recently turned 48, have a 24 year healthy marriage, a 20 year old son, and 18 year old daughter, a professional degree, and feel very low and unhappy. This U curve information that I have been reading about is very helpful, as is hearing form real women how they can come out of it on the other side. I feel "lost" and like life is taking too long to finish if we are to live to 84 in North America. I feel guilty for feeling this way, but I just do. I don't know if it's the U curve, or peri menopause, or the difficulties in accepting the aging process and how it impacts our brain. It's the most unhappy I have ever been, and I look forward to things improving. Blessings to you.

Yes! You are so right. I am in early 50s and feel so many different emotions. I do know that I am more comfortable saying what I feel lately. I feel guilty sometimes because I am all about me more often these days.....why do I feel guilty because I raised 2 productive humans ;)

In non westernized countries, there is no concept of age and time. Greeks on the island and in general on a Mediterranean diet live to be 110. If a man is 40 years older for instance cant find a soual mater. There is some pone on earth that is your soul mate, They could be tall you could be very short,,, red afro and sweetish blond... much older and much younger... soul mate is taken light...it is not a light things. When u can communicate telepathically and other things I cant get into happen if you drop every thing that means your in live. Youll know if you met your soul mate.... dating sites cant find one for you. I see people off sating sites,, they have a good relationship but should not call them selves soulmates every time when they argue and look like twins.. same height same age and every thing....

Middle age is 35 to 45 actually 40 That's middle age but 35 to 45 50 is way past middle age I don't think we should disregard it if we did we'd end up doing the things that we did when we were much younger and we end up getting hurt get injuries it's hard to get dates if you're an older person supposed to be like younger people job opportunities are not available at once were I could just go on and on but anyways I just noticed this yes it is important it's obviously important to the younger people millennials and whoever makes decisions to control our lives so we should not disregard it anyways okay take care
