As someone who's parents moved to turkey when I was 2 (I'm 17 now) and who loves to go travelling every summer, turkey really is amazing, everyone is so hospitable and kind!!! It's amazing how large their hearts are, you'll visit someones house and they'll treat you like royalty which I've never seen in any other country that I've been to (been to 63). The media gives turkey a terrible reputation and as you said (21:36) it stops people from travelling places and experiencing it for themselves. It's amazing to see another family who takes their kids travelling, and from experience it shows them so many other cultures at such a young age and it gives them just so many new experiences that not many others have. I can't wait to see where you go in the future!!!

I always read in the comment sections how peoples mind change about Turkey after watching these videos. I am from Turkey and I can't tell you how much preconceived judgement opinions I receieved from ppl when I traveled and lived in Europe and Latin America. I always explained to everyone with patience and kindness about my culture but I really hope people can stop having opinions about any country place or culture without actually living or traveling there. That is just a behavior pattern born out of fear. As humanity at the age of technology globalization I hope we can become more enlightened and more positive and not expecting the worst just because we are different in some ways from each other.

I enjoy your authentic joy in experiencing these places. For someone like me I have to calculate the difficulty in finding safe gluten free dietary food (I usually self-cater) but experiencing unusual locals like Mardin are so enriching too. If you do decide to do some sort of tours around Mardin area (not foodie :P) let me know. I also used to do family videos (without KZbin) when my kids were little, so quite enjoy the family focus. Kids experience things so naturally, so it's fun to watch.

Sir, a sweet family like you affect Turkish people. Chloe's sweety make people so generous and kind. She is also very smart. You are introducing/presenting Turkey so good. So you deserve every goodness and kindness in Turkey indeed. In addition foreigners more lucky than locals. The other point is being symphathic/cute like your family pulls concern/humanity of Turkish people.

Thank you so much showing the reality in Turkey, the western world try to show Turkish people wild, Turkey is not safe and so on. I am really enjoying watching your videos.

17:30 This dish is called as ''Tavuk sac '' and tavuk is chicken as you already know and the word sac refers to the way how it is cooked and basically it is the name of that metal tray. You confused the word sac with another word saç ( hair ), the letter c and ç are separately words. Btw, like your videos, your journey and how you filmed and edited them. Good job! Keep going!

SAC can be literally translated to sheet metal, the pans are made of sheet metal hence the name. Edit: Added the comma for clarification

no.. i don't think the hair is tangled. In Turkish it is difficult to speak in c colloquial language.be pronounced with ç.you know, there is no ç in English.I think they got too accustomed😉Ç is a Turkish letter and it only exists in the Turkish alphabet. It is not a mistake to say "hair".And many words can have different meanings in the same spelling and pronunciation.Love...

Believe me you're gonna fall in love with the food in Gaziantep. All of your family has great energy. Even though you don't speak the same language, your kindness and good vibe affects the people around you. If you need any suggestion for Gaziantep, just keep me posted. I visited there two times as a local tourist. Have a great trip 👍
