Firstly, the two women that won the boxing medals are not trans and are women and won fair and square and are getting undeserved hate. Second, the opening ceremony was bad whether it mocked the last supper or not. To me, it was as close to a depiction of the last supper as it was to the feast of Dionysus . It didn’t represent either well no matter which way you look at it. Also pertaining to the opening ceremony, the choice to have scantily clad drag queens was a big risk in itself. Integrating children into the routine around these underdressed adults is absolutely insane especially since one of them had a wardrobe malfunction at best and had his testicles exposed. Accident or not, the kids shouldn’t have been close to that or the adult performers in the first place.
