I totally believe that. There was this guy in High School with me. His whole life was school,his parents wouldn't let him date until he graduated college. I'm guessing you figured out he was our Valedictorian. The whole point was he was this short little nerdy guy,but I SWEAR,he had to beat girls away with a club. You never saw anything like it. He must have had Kramer's Kavorka.

I've been told all my life that I am a very handsome man. As a kid I was adorable, and beautiful, with paint brush eye lashes. As an athlete, and long-haired musician, teen I was told I was luscious, and a sex pot. In my adult years I have heard hottie, hunk, handsome, and beautiful. I loved those silly Don Knotts movies as a kid and his TV appearances, except for the Three's Company role, even Andy Griffith criticized that. Actually there was another reason Knott was known as a ladies' man for years. I don't want to spread gossip.

There were. a few episodes where Knotts played a much different type of Barney Fife character emulating Frank Sinatra, James Dean, etc. but still overall the character he played on TAGS would lead you to.think he wasn't a ladies man in real life; then again, the characters actors play are seldom what they are like in real life. Francis Beavier for example.
