As the mother of a severely autistic son who was then diagnosed with three chronic illnesses and is now bed bound, life, motherhood and marriage isn’t what I thought it would be but these are the shadowlands, eternal healing is the most import thing. My husband and pray that we can show our babies Jesus. Helena Rosavere asked the same question, ‘the question is not is Christianity worth it but is he worthy?’ Keep going, your family is such a blessing ❤❤❤

Oh Ashley this is one of your finest videos…when I saw Isabella trying to buckle her car seat I had tears running down my eyes. I thank you for allowing me to see your journey with the girls and the tremendous healing He is doing in them…Isabella walking today was amazing ❤ so about healing, at 35 years of age when my children were 10 through 16 I started getting severe numbness in my legs and arms. I found out I had a bone disease that had left my back very brittle with my spinal cord being compressed. There wasn’t anything they could do. So for several years I went on until I was ultimately in a wheelchair. But I could still transfer and move my legs just not walk. I believe God can heal and like Stan’s brother I really wanted God to heal me so everyone would know it was Him. But He gave me everything I needed to get through this life and the joy in my heart made me feel I am already healed…He made miracles happen so that I was eventually Able to get the surgery I needed to stop the paralysis from getting worse. I am so blessed. And I love watching your videos especially because I can see Gods hand on the girls life all the time and it’s so exciting to see how many miracles He does through them….praise God for your word today as always it touched me❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The relationship between Izzy and Nr. Carl is so precious. You can tell she knows he is a safe place for her to fall. You can see that they love each other and are so much more than therapist and client. She has made such amazing progress. Mika is doing amazing things too. Making her own lunch is quite an accomplishment.

I haven’t checked in for quite some time. My life got very busy. I sat here in tears praising God for how far is Isabella has come? Climbing stairs, and putting her arm inside of her car seat belt or miracles. That is healing.

This was lovely to watch. Both girls have come so far and continue learn more skills to enhance their lives. Healing is a continuous process. That they are safe and loved has made a huge difference for both girls. That healing takes work from everyone in the girls lives is something of a gift for all of those people. They get a new understanding of the world and the joy of seeing every bit of progress made.

My mom had a painful disease thats actually called "The Suicide Disease". Long story short, she had so nany treatments, medications, radiation. The church put her in a circle, the pastor, elders etc prayed for her. 4 months later she was in bad shape..they did it again. For 8 months now, no pain, off all pain medications. I feel there was a reason she had to go through this..in His time. I know i get frustrated with God because he does things in his time i am learning to accept whatever is on my plate, embrace it and relief ALWAYS comes. I really enjoyed your honesty and testimony here today. Izzy sure has made visible progress. TY for sharing ALL of this !! I"m ramblung tonight lol. May God continue to be with your family and special prayers going out for stan and family.

Such wonderful progress for both your girls! I am a music therapist and have two clients who are blind and cognitively challenged. Time, love, patience and therapy have seen steady progress with these two. Sending you best wishes on your journey!

I have 3 children with special needs. They all came to me through adoption. They are 18, 17 and 16. Of course I have always taken them to all the Therapies . At first my thoughts were to “fix/heal ” the difference they have. Now I realize the therapy I have taken them to were to enhance their lives because they don’t need to be healed from their differences. They were made in His image so they are perfect just as they are. If they some how became typical developing children they would not be able to carry Gods message in the way He intended. If my daughter were not exactly as she is , would she have noticed the sad women in the store and given her a hug? I f my 17 years old son were not exactly as he is would his screeches of joy as he walked alone down the toy aisle at Walmart for the first time ,have brought strangers to tears and a grandmother to realize that her new born grandchild would have a great life despite a diagnosis of cerebral palsy? If my 16 year old looks just like me, would a childless women have asked me about adoption? I don’t know for sure but suspect not. I have come to believe that God created my children differently so they could deliver his message in a special way. Your children are all so wonderful and they all deliver Gods message. Your little girls just deliver his message in a nontraditional way. I think they show God to others that may not have heard his message if they were not as special as I are.

My condolences regarding Mark ❤. Loss is very hard to deal with even when one rationalises it ,in my experience . I’ve lost a brother too, and two best friends, my cousin and my parents . I nearly lost my own life four years ago but here I am ! 😊 Mika is such a sweet and caring little girl . She’s very nurturing towards Izzy. Mika has a cheeky smile and a glint in her eye ! . She looks like she has a good sense of humour. She was so excited that she could wear mascara like her mum! So cute ! She’s progressed so much and even made her own sandwich . She’s amazing ! ❤ I couldn’t believe Izzy! She managed to get her arms into the seatbelt straps and then when it was clicked shut ,she touched it to make sure it was secure . She was a bit apprehensive to be on the ball at the gym ,so she grabbed her physio’s arm. That’s incredible as she senses what can be dangerous . Izzy climbing the stairs was lovely to see and amazing . It’s really good that they’re teaching her how to use a stick . Once she masters it she’ll be great at it . She’s an intelligent girl . ❤ It’s incredible how the girls have progressed. Mika’s got so much confidence now . I’ve watched Izzy’s first video a couple of times when you went to adopt her . And then I see her now. The difference is astounding . I believe God directed you to the girls to give them a better life and to save Izzy’s life . And to enrich your life . The joy , happiness and pride , you feel shows in your smile . I could see it when you were interacting with Mika regarding the mascara .❤

Ashley, the thing is that we were all made unique. Each one of us can only be the best version of ourselves. Look how you and your lovely family are facilitating this to be the case with Mika Ella and Isabel. God will reward you for doing this. We are all just passing through this world. We also have a fixed idea of what healing is . I have come to understand that there is healing in everything That hurts us and that seeks to destroy. The challenges of raising 3 of our 8 children who we adopted with special needs ... I trust the lord and lay them at the foot of the cross many times a day .. and while I have been close to broken so many times ... God heals me with his Grace and mercy...I see it every day . I’m not the same person as I was . Some things seem sad to lose as part of me ...but the depths He has taken me to, of his heart .. heal me .

I’ve done the same thing! I’ve prayed for the Lord Jesus to heal my daughter from diabetes. But, the Lord has strengthened me through!!!!! And he’s PROVIDED ME!!!! Now she has a pump! And medicine!!!!! I will praise Jesus in the hard times!! And in GOOD!!!!!!! This life is temporary!!!!!!

As I am watching this latest video. I am so amazed by Izzy’s progress. Was Carl helping her learn to walk with a blind walking stick? Have you ever considered getting her one? Or getting her a service dog not only to be her eyes also to help her other areas of her independence? I don’t know if you have ever heard of it. Have you ever considered getting her the orcam my eye device? You don’t have to have any sight to use it. It can do all sorts of things for people who can’t see at all.

It wasn’t a cane- but a stick but yes, he’s working on that with her. It’s a slow process and we aren’t rushing it. No t sure on a service dog !!

YES, He is Lord and I give Him the glory! Do I claim to understand all of it? No but that’s okay, He is my strength and Light in this world. In the last several years and some hard trials, biblical counseling through our church and I can honestly say what we go through is for His Glory and our good. Question: did Izzy ever have some vision? In your video "She Just Didn't Care" there is footage of her at end, when she was 2 years old. It looked to me like she could see. Just wondered. She is a charming child, and I love to see her progress. Bless your family for loving her.

No mam. From what we know from her medical reports and her condition, she never had vision. In utero, she had a large sac of brain matter called a basal encephalocele form and interrupt the growth of the optic nerve etc.

Hi just wanted to say that I love this channel I love that your channel is a believing channel and Jesus no I’m not Jehovah’s Witness. I am not Mormon. I am Christian myself. Been a believer ever since I was I believe 16. I have felt the Holy Spirit. I’m also visually impaired, legally blind, etc. etc. And my thoughts and my prayers has changed although my parents are very traditional have been praying for healing for me for my eyesight and for me that has changed as I said before I am grateful to God that I have some sight not a lot but I am very grateful and I do think God every day with the gift of whatever site I still have I was watching another KZbinr and she’s also a disabled person on a wheelchair and she was saying your disability shouldn’t be a burden. It should be a gift that’s not exactly what she really said but I just think it’s true, and I think God for your kind of a channel.

Hopefully too as Izzy gets to doing this kind of stuff more independently she’ll never try to go up or down the steps when no one is around though I would imagine you probably use a baby gate or something
