For me it would find the wifi connection options but whenever I clicked them it would spin for 20 seconds and then say that it wasn’t able to connect, I tried the last option: reset the PRAM + NVRAM, my computer reset and it immediately worked again! Thank you!!

Thank you.. This helped me. My Mac hasn't been able to connect to the net for about a week or two... I'm no tech boffin... I would never have known to change the DNS which I have now done and it worked. So this helped me a lot. I'm now connected again. Yee haa. Thanks for the help.

👍 “Oh, WoW”. I took computer tech in skill center. I would have never thought of trying to connect to another WiFi Network. Then going back to my WiFi. 1. Before I tried that. I kept trying to connect to my WiFi. And no connection. 2. I reset Wireless network. That did nothing. Mac still not connecting. 3. Updating Router. That did nothing. Mac still not connecting. 4. Trying different network then going back to my network worked. Mac is now connected to WiFi. Thanks 👍 for making this Video. I was getting frustrated.

Since my Macbook Pro has been overseas, it 'thinks' that it is itself overseas. Despite that I'm returned to Australia, local WiFi networks are now rejected because they're 'in Australia' ie. overseas. I'm suspecting hijack of the Captive Network Portal. Any suggestions?

Guys, if this fix doesn't work for you, check if your VPNs are on in the background. Go to your VPN settings in system settings and make sure all of the buttons are switched off

Tried all of the above, none worked. I eventually found the solution..which incredibly was changing the time and date! My mac was on a wrong date and time. When I adjusted it to the correct one, it connected to the wifi immediately! No idea why that was the problem.

Tried all does not work. Everything worked yesterday without a hickup, now, it wont do shit. My phone is fine, the tablet is fine but my m1pro does not want do find the internets in the w-lan connection. AND, to add insult to injury, i can connect to my phone via hotspot and surf without problems.

Question to everyone in the chat and channel creator. I have a friend who has the Mac Mini M1 and can connect to the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz but, cannot connect to 6Ghz. They can see the 6Ghz option but can't connect to it. The router and modem they have is WiFi 6, it's from Xfinity, the xFi Advanced Gateway (XB8) modem. Has anyone had this issue and if so, could someone please help? Thank you!

When I use my 15 years old (OEM) Laptop running Linux Mint, I have to do the following: " H i t p o w e r b u t t o n " After boot I am online. Now Mac mini: I pay 700 to 1000 + a few hundred Euros only to go check list expeditions, "possible solutions" lists? Wifi was introduced September 27th 1997, Bluetooth Mai 7th 1998. This isn't "cutting-edge technology" anymore. People just...u s e i t...Perhaps Apple still uses transistors or vacuum tubes...?? Does Apple at least know what the problem is? I wanted to by a Mac mini M2 to transition to Apple. But given that the problem already existed with Intel Macs, persisted with the M1 chip as well as now the M2, this yells incompetence! What's going on??? I am seriously considering giving up and stay with Microsoft! I need fully functional wifi AND exceptionally good Bluetooth!
