Don't turn the power down, raise the tire pressure! I say this because at the hit the tires are wadding up, saying "Give me some more tire pressure"! Do you know what tire pressure it needs to not blow the tire off at the hit with a fast tune in it? Every car is different! once you know the tire pressure where it blows the tire at the hit, start backing it down a 1/4 - 1/2 pound each consecutive pass till it quits blowing off the tire at the hit, with no change to the tune! When you find this number, start giving it more power till it blows them off at the hit and then take more air out of the tire till it stops blowing them off! Write all this stuff down for your records and keep doing this process till you run a .910 60' and then you will have a race car!
