I'm so sorry for you my dear. God did help him. He himself chose to take that drink again. Now our Heavenly Father will walk with you. There is no easy way; but it does get better with time. Hold on to God. Bless you with His peace and comfort.

Life is a daily challenge. The valleys can be long, dark and painful. When God brings you through, the mountains will not seem as high, and He will take you to the peak. To have everlasting life you absolutely must trust in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation 💓 this means that saving repentance is turning from unbelief to belief. You either believe that Jesus paid your sin debt in full or you don't. Addiction is terrible.
