XB is the goat, that's it. I played the game to death over the years since Wii & 3DS. But when the DE came out, I played it different where at the start of the game, once I got my hands on spike damage, I decided to use that against the stronger unique monsters to max my lvl all the way to ch.7. Yo, that took some skills because the fights took 30 to 1 hour 😂. But it was worth it as I was able to grab early end game armor & crystals. Once you get Sharla, the challenge can be done. All you need to do is make sure Ryan has the spike damage gem on because it's him that the monsters will attack. Sharla will be the one to heal & sleep the monsters to prolong the monsters attacking you at their peak. If you set up how you attack you can topple the monsters that are 30+ lvls higher than you. Unbeatable gem can gotten early from B leg from the flying eagle, which is what I used to help me. But yeah, there is much more to it & I didn't think such a thing would be achieved, but I made it happen. I hope you enjoy XB2 etc.

This was video was everything!! So well said. Xenoblades Chronicles is what really introduced me to JRPGs...actually, RPGs, period. Late bloomer here. Lol. And now, the Xenoblade Chronicles series is my FAVORITE RPG series. These stories are just so good. Layered, in depth, just an immaculate masterpiece.

10:40 Dixon was a father figure and mentor to shulk. Even if he had devious intentions, I think shulk still respected and honored Dixon. The nuance is what makes their relationship and the story as a whole so complex.

One of the best games I’ve ever played! There were multiple points where the game could’ve just ended early, but it kept going in such an organic way! Playing it again right now, actually.

I’m with you on that. I thought I knew where it was going and then boom plot twist
@GerardMenvussa3 ай бұрын
It kept going at times when you thought you were nearing the end, but at then again, this game does not disrespect your time. Unlike X, 2 and maybe 3, XC1 is of reasonable length and does not feel artificially padded. A problem with many JRPGs sadly.

The entire team at MonolithSoft created something very special and very magical with the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise that is still amazing that the first Xenoblade game became the greatest JRPG of its generation and also help revitalize the JRPG genre when it first released and lead to this incredible story-driven trilogy. Better than modern Final Fantasy! We’ve come a long way since the Operation Rainfall fan campaign. Even after so many past projects from Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Baten Kaitos, it was Xenoblade Chronicles that shined a bright light at their studio and help them create a franchise that has garnered mainstream success and appeal, that they are satisfied with, and feel compelled and confident to further challenge themselves into what new stories to tell and new ideas and inspirations they can make in their future projects they are working on next. Each game has some powerful plot twisting moments and emotional endings that MonolithSoft probably did not know would have fans especially female gamers literally crying during those moments. In case anyone is new to Xenoblade or is just curious. Back then with Xenogears and Xenosaga, MonolithSoft wanted to create a six story narrative (Perfect Works), but most of their work had to be cut. But now, MonolithSoft alongside with Nintendo giving them creative freedom accomplished that vision that Tetsuya Takahashi had. Telling a complete six story narrative in Xenoblade Chronicles and its DLC expanded stories and completing the current story in the “Klaus saga” and what's to come in a new story arc. -Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition -Future Connected (Epilogue Story) -Xenoblade Chronicles 2 -Torna The Golden Country (Prequel Story) -Xenoblade Chronicles 3 -Future Redeemed (Prequel Story)

LOVE the attack on titan comparison. aot and the xenoblade series are my two favourite works of fiction of all time and its sad that while the former is deservedly praised and incredibly popular, nobody ever really seems to talk about xenoblade despite it being amazing for many of the same reasons. Great video mate and you've earned yourself a subscriber 😀

Every avid gaming enthusiast has their own game/franchise/series that basically makes up 90% of their personality and I'm so glad this is mine. I am patiently awaiting the day I can share my enthusiasm for this series with some of my friends (739 days of waiting and going strong).

this is one of my favorite game, I finished it first on New Nintendo 3DS and then finished it twice on my Nintendo Switch although I got a lot of backlog games I'm still thinking of playing it again for the fourth time ahaha.. I finished XC2 (except Torna) and XC3 (dlc included).. this series is a blast..

Torna is such a drag, but so, so worth it story-wise. I didn't beat it until after Future Redeemed either, and it works great as a final entry.
