Yoimiya also moves around a lot when shooting. She walks out of Bennetts circle a lot. Yun Jin makes her way more mobile and allows her to finish her combos without having to dash back into Bennetts buff. She also gives access to Geo resonance with Yois other best support, Zhongli.

@@DadOfB01 because then you'll only have one slot left, which means either going with vape and losing CC and aoe, or going overload and losing the massive damage amp from Xingqiu/Yelan. One thing that is important to note about Bennett's burst is its also a utility knife. Having the extra ability to heal is valuable to some players as not everybody can play perfectly, as he provides an extra safety net for the main DPS in case the shield pops.

Just use Thoma instead. His shield is really good and since yoimiya attacks so fast she stacks it really quickly. He gives pyro resonance plus at c6 gives a 15% normal/charged/plunge attack damage bonus, plus since yoimiya will be far away from her target anyways Thoma cant steal her vapes. Not to mention yoimiya can also be run with retracing bolide which will further the tankyness of Thomas shields while also give yoimiya a lot of normal attack damage bonus

I love using Yunjin and Yoimiya together (also Yunjin with Ayato). throwing Yunjin and Zhongli together to get Geo resonance and then the final character is between Kazuha, Fischl or Xingqiu. Also, not having to worry about Yoimiya backing out of Bennett's circle and having to run back in during the attack chain because Yunjin's buff follows the character.

@@digivagrant Her C6 is nice for increasing attack speed but i was using her with Yoimiya and Ayato before getting her c6 and the damage boost is still great, even without reactions yunjin gives a good boost. However if your Albedo is built well he can do a lot of passive damage on his own, i use Xingqiu, Albedo and Zhongli with Hutao, but with yoimiya i prefer to see her do big damage numbers on her own, plus if you get c6 in the future you will have your yunjin already built, but if you want to save the resources and your current team does well. Also if Yoimiya is your only normal attacker then maybe you can hold off on building Yunjin if you are not sure.

I'm glad you briefly clicked on Diona in the flex slot for Yoimiya's vape teams! I've been using her w/ Yun Jin & Yelan and I think it's a really solid team, especially at c6. Diona shields aren't the tankiest but she can easily hold Noblesse, provide some cryo application if needed for certain shields, and in rare cases provide CC by freezing enemies w/ Yelan / Xingqui. At c6 the extra 200 EM is great for large vaporizes and since Yoimiya's pyro application be slower than average, there are rare cases where Cryo is applied before a hit, allowing a few Melt hits in. It's rare and inconsistent, certainly, but it's certainly welcome when it does happen. And for Yun Jin & Yelan, both benefit from having a rainbow team through their passives which probably isn't the biggest buff but another small but welcome addition. Diona in that team adds a lot of small buffs but they really add up, making her a solid substitute if you don't have Zhongli or need him on another team

I might’ve said this in another vid but I love those two with Zhongli and Kokomi. Geo res and shred is nice, plus the jellyfish application is enough to reliably vape the correct hits. There’s also several sets and weapons they can hold to benefit the team easily. Very cozy.

In other games, slow but heavy attackers usually benefit more from multiplicative buffs (ATK% and Vape/Melt) while fast attackers benefit more from flat added damage. Since the flat damage boost is constant no matter how big or small your damage is, weaker attacks benefit more from it than stronger attacks. Fast attackers like Yoimiya and Ayato usually have "lower" scalings per normal attack for game balance. With that in mind, I thought that they should be paired with Yun Jin, who gives not only an additive buff to your normal attack DMG, but also attack speed at C6, which is also important as also mentioned in the video. We'll see more of this kind of buff with Catalyze later on, which adds to the triggering (Dendro or Electro) character's DMG based on their EM.

If you're using Beidou or Yelan in the team with Yoi and Yunjin Fav Lance outvalues the other options for yunjin simply by helping them get their bursts back easier and reducing yunjin's own er requirements by a significant amount especially at higher refines

Don't forget that Yun Jin doesn't require you to stand in a place for the enemy to hit you... I'd like to add that using Yun Jin and Beidou in a tag team is fun (parry) and Yun Jin does buff Beidou's burst which I then transfer on Barbara, though Yoimia, Yelan, etc. should definitely work.

Im going to build my team like this Yoimiya : obviously main dps Fischl or Xingqiu depending on which reaction you want Yunjin Noelle : some might disagree with me but i prefer to put her as a shield and healer, her heal is based on her defense which you really shoild build chunky noelle, don't put much effort into healing effectiveness just put 2 pieces maiden main stat def% and get free 15% healling effectiveness, about the other 3 pieces, there a set a forget his name gives 30% def put it and the last piece put anything def % main stat. If you're concerned about shield strength it'll be buffed by gro resonance, if still concerned then you can replace the set of 30% def with another set called husk something found in inzuma which gives you percentage of shield strength, how much i forgot but surely more than 20% Note : this team might change so if you have a note put it in a reply and I'll be appreciative for the advice.

Really looking forward to getting Yoimiya and trying all of these teams, and Im glad Yun Jin is also in the banner since mine is only C1, really hope I can get C6 since thats where she really shines. One thing I wish you had mentioned when talking about anemo supports is C2 Jean. I know people dont usually talk about 5 star constellations but Jean is a standard character and lots of people will have that by now, my own being C4 already. C2 Jean provides VV shred and a whooping 15% atk speed, even more than Yun Jin C6, which apparently makes her just as good as Kazuha as far as buffing Yoimiya goes, and you get extra healing on top of it (and I equip mine with Favonius Sword so she is ALSO a battery on top of all that). In fact Im thinking Bennett + Jean + Yun Jin would be super fun, 27% attack speed and Sunfire aura going off while you do your thing with Yoimiya, definitely one of the teams I wanna try the most and I havent seen it anywhere.

I would personally also add Yun Jin to Eula teams. Especially with C6, which not only gives your normal attacks more damage, but also allows you to hit more during her burst increasing your burst damage. Also, since Yun Jin is usually using Favonius, she is even helping with Eula's energy needs. 4:20 Tbh, I don't think that's totally fair. It does matter what Bennet uses. Because he can use Noblesse, giving 20% more attack through the artifact set.

I'm late to the party here, but I see one flaw in the analysis. You put noblesse on Yelan. While I agree that you have to do this for a Yun Jin team, typically Bennett would have the Noblesse set. You really need to account for the dps loss on Yelan when you switch from emblem to Noblesse in order to allow Yun Jin to use Husk. I'm betting that closes the gap between Benny and YJ.

I honestly find the Bennett comparison weird. Yes, individually Yunjin Scales higher but you're a lot more limited team wise due to Yunjin lacks of sustain. Adding Bennet means that you can add Kazuha for VV double swirl and XQ for interuption resistance and both scales off the pyro resonance and Yoimiya attack buff. Meanwhile Yunjin due to her lack of sustain pretty much forces you to slot Zhongli as the only sustain that can shred while allowing XQ/Yelan to come in. Bennett+Kazuha sounds like a much higher DPS output than Yunjin+Zhongli if you factor XQ as the better last slot.

I like the character and I have a fully built Noelle so that would have made sense but couldn't justify the investment since she already has a lot of decent supports. But well. Now that I got Yoimiya, this video mostly sold me on the idea. Yun Jin and Bennet are essentially end game must for challenge/boss events considering how much power spike they give to your team (especially with c6 yun jin). They effectively make any top damage dealers exceed the limit possibilities of what shouldn't be possible.

it really depend too much on the line up and event buff, on this event the first section i went with kazuha, siblings and the sis (Rosaria), and they were better that any other team i could make, simply because is an extremely quick swap team, with lots of crit stats and tons of energy, Ayaka was always criting with her burst (witrh resonace, and Rosaria buff and 4p set i get more than 100% CR) with around 300% CD, with Kazuha iron sting and VV set cryo swirl, with 50% burst bonus on top... Ayaka burst was really deadly on the second hutao vapo team wasn't enought DPS so i had to rely on XQ bennet, xiangling, kazuha (international) to do it stil haven't tried the 3rd one, but the buff make a huge impact on the team composition and not always Bennet is what you really want (another example is mono geo with gorou C6 that can provide more that any geo carry requested or what bennet can offer)

Level 8 burst would have a Buff Multiplier of 51% while 61% at Level 11. 54% Def from Husk is valuable, but it will only have about 440+ Def which translates to only extra 220 Flat Damage at level 8 while 264 at Level 11 burst. While these had to undergo Yoimiya’s Pyro Elemental Bonus and CDMG, I think the +35% Pyro Damage Bonus by Archaic Petra would be more valuable since Yoimiya’s Elemental Skill and Archaic Petra’s buff lasts the same 10 seconds… I would like to hear your thoughts about this…

Hi, first of all, amazing video, idk why I didn't find it when it was released, but thank god for let me finding it anyways. I'd like to ask you something regarding the numbers shown around 5:50 : 1) Didn't you forget to count the E skill multiplier (lv10=161,7% in your case) into the 2nd table of numbers (Yoi base pyro NAs + YJ's buff? 2) However, you did it or not, I still don't get how you got from 2487*0.636 to 2941.2 (1st hit of the string as example). Even multiplying 2487 * 0,636 * 1,617 I'm still lower than 2941,2. I'm probably missing something but this stupid thing is driving me crazy lol, so I'd really appreciate if you read this and take your time to clarify me this. Thank you in advance! edit: I've realized I didn't take into account the NO 4pc effect, which provides around the amount of % increase to get to 2941,2 N1 dmg now (it now surpasses that value by a little bit though, but maybe that was the missing number to get the expected (yours) result).

What about Eula? Yun Jin at C6 she also increases atk speed. So that’s amazing for her and the more variety of elements, and adding 2 Anemo units plus C2 Jean for even more speed makes Eula insanely good with a C6 Yun Jin.

If you have great Defender's Will (4* artifacts) flower and plume, I recommended it to run 2 Husk + 2 Defender on Yun Jin for 30% + 30% Def bonus But only in flower and plume, cause Yun Jin doesn't really benefit from HP and Attack

You left out Eula for the normal attack part, if you have c4 Yunjin, the speed of your stacks becomes insane, so you would want to use Yunjin for Eula

I have Yoimiya since her release, I love her, she is my favorite. But I couldn't ever got more than a C1 Yunjin. She is comming with her this time, but I can't take her, I'm saving for Nilou and Kusanali. Also the last time I saw Yunjin was on Ayato's banner, but I was saving for Yelan, so another lose. The crazy thing is that I spent more than 150 wishes on her release, she was with Shenhe, but I only earned 1 Yunjin there, and another free they gifted.

the biggest problems of junjin are that not many character use NA and her buff increase depending on how many elements there are in the party. because most DPS charcter love resonance of their same type (excluded Hutao) (see freeze Ayaka, any mono geo, ...), this means that the team composition in which she can make the most of her buff, it's a team with a pyro DPS, with vapo that don't need ATK% (or doesn't need much) with a shielder that is either Anemo, cryo, Dendro or electro and finally that use NA as primarly DMG. Warning, talking abou future content that may be unofficial!!! unless a dendro charcter will be released that focus on NA (that want's an electro and maybe hydro to boost their dmg because dedro reaction that i still haven't memorized their name), Yun jin would be able to be used basically only on Yoimiya team. if only she was another element, we could do zhog, vapo, Yoimiya and Yunjin making her giving more buffs. or just that her buff would be a bit more, tho considering that bennet is absolutely busted, being able to compare with him as a buffer is huge. also looking forward to the new hydro resonance: hutao, zhongli, XQ, Yelan team looking extremely strong lol

Basically, Yun Jin is great with anyone who always uses their normal attacks most of the time.

Yun Jin is probably not used as much because half the people used in the Abyss that are meta don't use normal attacks for damage. Characters she's actually good with is Yoimiya, Ayato, Kequing, Hu Tao, Ayaka, Itto, Yanfei, Ningguang, and possibly Raiden in burst mode. I haven't tested Raiden yet though, but she does do normal attacks while in that mode. I put Itto on the list because you need normal attacks for Superlative Strength while in burst mode. It's not necessary if he's well built, but if not she can boost the damage. Also, she creates a shield. So getting some EM on her would boost that allowing for a 4 character that doesn't need to be Zhongli. I'm sure there's characters I've missed, but these are the ones that she would make least played characters better. Except maybe Hu Tao cause she's already god tier. Another thing to note that wasn't in your video is that Yun Jin gets an even bigger defense buff when you have 4 characters of different elements in slot. She gets an 11% def buff with 4 different elements and a 7.5% with 3. So that is something to make note of when making teams too. I would almost use Diona in the 4th slot for her as she provides not only a shield, but healing and EM as well if you have Diona at C6.

Huge misconception to c6 bennett buffing pyro as it clearly states sword,claymore, and polearm users only, so he gives nothing but the attack bonus to yoimiya.

Actually the REAL huge misconception is that it “doesn’t give a pyro DMG bonus”, because it DOES clearly state that this bonus only applies to melee users… but the pyro DMG bonus actually applies to all characters

Back when I was still playing, I did a Natk Fischl with Yunjin and saw just how absurdly high the natk damage spiked... Shame too, Yunjin's buffing is absurd and even stacks with Bennett as long as it's natks and not skills, bursts, or charged attacks. (Also Yunjin is my most favorite character)

I might be late or someone else might've already pointed it out but if I remember correctly you lose out on a lot of damage going shim with thundering pulse, you almost never get her 3rd stack and yoi's ult does give a 10-20% dmg buff to her team, its completely optional but if you love yoi you could try the retracing bolide set, although it comes with 10% less dmg than shim it lets you use your burst before your elemental skill and lets you get your 3rd stack on shim.

Yoimiya generates 4 (I think) pyro particles in her skill state, which translates to 12 energy on 100% ER. Basically, it should be fine, at least until 125% ER or if there are lots of enemies. But in my case (Yoimiya has 150% ER without me even caring, I don't know how), I manage to use her burst if it's available, Yelan EQ with favonius, Bennett QE and funnel particles into Yoimiya for Shimenawa to still take effect.

Hey! I've been really enjoying your character guide videos and find them the most informative and easiest to understand compared to other guide videos. I was wondering if you had any plans to make a video on Ayato. Or if not any time soon if there's any Ayato guides (specifically teams and such) you would suggest? Ayato and Kazuha are the only 5-star characters I've enjoyed playing so far and have invested a lot of time into but I can't seem to find a team I like for Ayato. I have also considered using a team like Yoimiya, Yunjin, Albedo and either Yelan/Ayato/Xingqiu/Fischl/anemo support character/Zhongli/Bennett/Diona. Since Yunjin barely ever utilizes the crystallize reaction, Albedo could use the Archaic Petra set. Yoimiya can also use the Retracting Bolide set in case u don't have a good Shimenawa(?) Set. The last slot has a lot of flexibility bc using a character of a different element(besides Geo and Pyro) would increase Yunjin's buff passive in addition to the support they bring. I don't have a Yoimiya(ㅠㅠ go away Skyward Spine Noone likes you) but I have tried Childe and Albedo w/ the Archaic and Bolide sets and it works great

since I am a madlad and am working with what I got, I am actually using Bennett alongside Yun Jin to buff Razor and snapshotting bennett's and Yun Jin's buffs onto Xiangling's pyronado and Guoba attack, its freaking bonkers even though I am around level 40 characters and AR 26 still

Do note too for many people that benny will lose the battle since benny applies pyro resonance AND an atk boost which does become diminishing returns due to double atk bonuses. While yunjin grants geo resonance (on your team) so the dmg bonus while shielded multiplies her attack damage boost. If you do not have zhongli the comparisons would be a LOT further apart AND benny on yoimiya means you can focus crit values and ignore atk on all artifacts. Not saying benny is better, just making sure viewers note that there are reasons to run each. BUT running yunjin does mean that you can free benny of for other teams which is invaluable as you stated.

I tried Yun Jin with physical DPS Fischl and it is not that great. Maybe I just do not have the gear for it but similar gear level off field electro dps performed way better. Certainly nothing like Yoimiya and Yun Jin. It seems like the only top tear combination is Yoimiya and Yun Jin. Noelle perhaps can work too but it is not that amazing either. The specific conditions that need to be met is that most of your dps has to be focused into normal attacks which is actually pretty rare since you often have off field damage supports that get a lot of help from buffs.

In Fischl case is, Physical Fischl is a fatamorgana because Oz attack is extra attack for Fischl normal attack I did built her physical in v1.0 until before v2.0 her physical build really did a good job in lower level, but the higher the level / difficulty, her elemental reaction deal more better It still works, its just less damage than the elemental build
