Yea, the collect limits begin to taper after ~4-5 players. The spawn limit is exponential yes, but the constrained time and effective collection rate tends towards under 300 eggs as an expected maximum no matter how many are zerging. A tactic to increase the total return for groups 3+ is to build a ball of eggs using the circle method, have 1 peel off quickly with a goal for first place, then set pre-determined time for the other players to transition to FFA egg collection. Once everyone is FFA, the goal should be always to avoid impeding the player aiming for first, and to try to coordinate clock wise or counter clockwise around a point. Once 3+ players are grouped the groups I run with will all gather ~200 eggs and typically have the top collector around 230-240. With full suit a coordinated and waiting duo can compete with larger groups, otherwise 3 should be the expected minimum.

If you're in your base when it starts they'll spawn under your base and you can't pick them up

@@boe_face9047 this^^ only a set number spawn at the beginning of the event. They can also glitch into terrain. Ice lakes are the worst because you can't get the ones that spawn in ice.

I am. 😂 I make sure my basket, onsie, and ears are on around the same ingame time every day. Make sure you keep turning in a circle so all the eggs appear in that circle. When you grab an egg another one spawns in the direction you're looking. The highest I got was 120+ egss. How about you guys?
