#CoachCurtis #LeagueOfLegends MID LANE FUNDAMENTALS EPISODE 6 // This video is quite an in-depth and complicated one, so make sure to bring a notepad or watch it over a few times. In this one I cover all you need to know about tempo, and the fundamentals covered aren’t only related to Mid lane. The same concepts apply to every role AND I even spend time breaking down jungle tempo. This concept is usually the difference between diamond/master players and grandmaster+ players. Let me know if you have any questions! Cheers :)
00:00 - 00:40 // Introduction
00:40 - 01:43 // What Is Tempo?

02:45 - 05:07 // Ways To Generate Tempo
05:07 - 12:45 // EXAMPLE 1 (Tempo)
12:45 - 15:44 // EXAMPLE 2 (Clarifying Tempo vs Priority)

when should you sidelane as a midlaner after laning phase? I am often forced by other laners to go away from my lane. Xerath for example would really like to stay mid so he can pressure both side lanes at the same time.

Totally agree. Really outstanding detail. Also, just want to clarify in case it is not a typo, but I think you meant "appreciation". "Appropriation" means to take something and use it for a purpose other than what was intended. Don't mean to be rude, just hope that's helpful in case there was a misunderstanding.

I'm discovering all theses videos only now and dude I was stuck plat 4 and I feel now like I have way more control in my games, with all your waves management/tempo/trading tips I feel very confident because I kinda realized that I can actually control what's happening on the lane only by looking at the minions, and not only by trying to out trade or kill your opponent. I'm getting way more cs/min, more pressure and feel like the trades are easy when you got control on the waves and vision ! im already plat 2 now and I'm so confident I can hit diamond or more with hard work and practice, reviewing my 12-15 first minutes of my games when I feel I did something wrong that make me lose control of the game. I'm really happy someone went so deep in what is happening in high elo mind every second of the game and why they have choices that's always better than low elo even with a single solo kill... Thank you so much Coach cortis, I'm really new on the channel (a month) but I'm already in love with your coaching content ! (sry for my english)

Have a nice day, I'd watch this video again because it may take some time to keep all this in mind while playing x) not as hard as the enemy jg tracking tho hahahaha

Coach youve spoiled me, I cant watch any other guides on yt cus they all just show runes and items, maybe a few combos. Only after watching your videos have I actually felt like Ive improved, not just learned what a champion does. Keep up the great work!

Damn after watching the second example I got a flashback from when I played scaling champions like kassadin and diana. After winning teamfights instead of pushing with my team I used to go and steal like 3 or 4 of the enemy jg camps and then go b. I would get flamed and pinged a lot lmao. Who would know that I was actually using pro strategies without realising

Just a note, oftentimes you're using genitive (5:54, enemies) which is done by using an apostrophe (enemy's, or plural genitive, enemies'). Very informative video.

This is so important! Thank you, Coach! I remember backing off of a tier 2 bot tower as a leona support, and I was pinging my ash to back away as well, because we still hadn't gotten mid tier 1 tower and dragon was up, so we had priority. Instead, Ash stayed for tower (she didn't get it), died to 3 people, pinged me for not staying with her, and then we couldn't get dragon because the enemy team collapsed on us through their jungle and we weren't in a good position to 4v5... and that was not the first time something like this has happened. I main mid/support, and I need all bronze adc's and junglers to watch this video. xD

This is so classic, i hate when the team do not prepares for the objetives and if they end dying the objetive is lost, if youre a jg they even flame you for not securing the objetive xd

@@matiasrebori9025 I feel so bad for low elo junglers when they are trying to take objectives, and their team just perma-dies and flames them.

Yeah this is a classic move in low elo, hopefully my videos will educate people to prevent this sort of thing from happening haha

Now i'm understanding why here in Brasil we have a very very bad server... i've never heard about "tempo", and i'm like OMG THIS IS HUGE. I became so curious when i saw the title of the video, because in portuguese, "time" is exactly "tempo" hahahah Thanks for this amazing video

Damn bro. The minute i start watching Nathan Mott as well i find out you know each other. Funny because he used footage of you playing Olaf in his Olaf guide, as an example of sub-optimal clearing xD. Great video and i see it as a personal note that you talk about jungle tempo as well

Appreciate you tuning in man ! Yeah me and Nathan are best buddies :) I think that the jungler should focus more on what they want to do and the mid laner should base with respect to you. BUT a jungler should keep into account lanes and how they are trading, because it can dictate if you need to come help or gank given how heavy the laners are trading

Hi Curtis! Could You maybe do a Camille mid video? I think she's a very underplayed pick and it would be very hyelpful. Thanks!
