Sorry Money can make you happy as can great health, great family and being generous/ virtuous. I’m tired of hearing money can’t make you happy. I agree if you get a life altering diagnosis , loose a child or on the sinking Titanic Money will not make you happy. Most other times it does. And if you’re unhappy it’s still better to be miserably rich than miserably poor . So please stop with that nonsense ( like teachers exhibits not the grade that’s important…. It’s the grade along with learning). We are being brainwashed again.

I've had money and haven't and I think love brings happiness I'd rather be broke and have people I love around me. Money is only a process to get my end goal the people I need expect and need me to be successful.

It's extremely complicated. To think it's one or the other it's just kidding yourself. Rich celebrities aren't really happier, they are still mired by all the same problems that we deal with in life. Like self confidence, having friends, looking after health and mental well being etc. Yes money can help them deal with these issues better. However, they do not avoid all the normal spectrum of human suffering that everyone else does. Plus people with wealth will also realise that the happiness from having fulfillment, love and connection with others can never be surpassed by material things. Yes experiences can be bought with wealth, but experiences are just one piece.of the puzzle of what constitutes a person's overall happiness. My cousin makes tonnes of money, but he still drinks all the time (excessively and is overweight). He also has a a child with autism. Money makes their life easier and less stressful, but I would say they are definitely not happier than other members of my family who make much less money but who have other aspects of their lives together.

I cant enjoy my money or save bc im american living in america. Its never enough no matter how frugale and how much i work. 1 emergency sets me back and i usually get them in 2s or 3s and have to choose which emergency to pay for. Usually its my car which i need to make money and get to work and do deliveries. Idk how to break this cycle its depressing and im about to live in the woods to dave and leave the country. This isnt normal in other countries. A lotbofbthese disorders are more common in americans i guarantee it and it feels hopeless and im scared to grow old.

This is such a condescending video. Jesus. It comes across more like making fun of people for their money problems. Is this a psychological test or something? Every person in every one of this situations knows they're in that situation. You're not offering any real help to any of them in the second half. Some of those behaviors ARE part of their responses to their situations. I love a bunch of your videos but this isn't one of them. It just makes me sad for people in those situations who can't get out of them.

This video is about being mindful. Most all of he self-help lesson in books or videos are very basic and obvious, but hearing it makes us more aware and gives us the ability to recognize it and do something about it. It sounds to me like you are frustrated with your own situation and don’t know how to go about changing it. Keep searching for answers and you will find one that works for you in your specific situation. Don’t ever give up on yourself! You are worth it!

Again, there is zero actual help offered here. Just making fun of people's conditions. What do you tell a widow who lost her children and husband in a war, and is now hoarding things, because having things around her that are "hers" make her feel better? Do you tell her she's wrong? That she's making horrible financial decisions? If you want to help someone, don't pass judgement if you aren't willing to help. BTW, this is self-referential. In other words, I'm suggesting that in a future video perhaps the author could offer actual solutions, as a follow-up to this video.

@@ChiltonWebbawareness of a problem if a good first step. even if we knew all of this, a simple reminder could trigger a change in someone. maybe it didn’t help you at all, but it sure helped me

I am binge listening to your wonderful videos. I enjoy your summaries so much, I began to notice overlapping mentions of rules/andvice etc and began selecting certain ones that summarize other videos you have summarized 😁.
