I'm glad you didn't shear a diff cover bolt off. My 3/8 stubby sheared one of the heads clean off!

‘21 F350 crew SB SRW 4x 7.3L, change full syn oil & Wix filter 5k miles. Tow a 30’ TT occasionally, mostly frwy 70+.

Question Are the 2 extra cooling fin pieces on the bottom of the cover able to break off if they were hit by something extremely hard? Or will they bend and possibly damage the cover to the point that the diff oil will start to leak out? I sometimes take my 6.7 down some logging roads that have deep ruts and pot holes. You just don't know what is below the surface of the water and/or mud. Rocks, bolders, logs and such. Being Banks I'm sure they thought about that but I need to ask before I go to the next step and purchase one.

Have you hear anything about the 2023 F250 or F350 as for features and looks and so one. I am still waiting on the 2022 F250 but still hasn't even been built.

Would a '22 F350 with the 7.3 gasser benefit from this upgrade as well? I understand this is about the rear differential, but I also know, at times, the engine type plays a direct role in when/if a modification is beneficial. The truck has 4.30 gears if that influences your answer/reply. Love your stuff! Thanks!
