I am lifting mine just now. Very timely video. My experience is that the majority make it through our cold winter but some perish. Just how it is and always have ample tubers for spring.

I leave mine in the ground with lots of mulch around them. Some have been in ground for over 4 years. Live in a temperate climate on east coast of Vancouver island, BC Canada.

I use a pressure washer to remove most of the soil after I have lifted the plant.
