I think changing the BRT into a highway median would make it much better as you could use the highway with bus lanes, aswell as making much simpler and smaller interchanges on and off as it just goes straight down through the middle to an intersection. So some places you would have dedicated bus road between two highway roads and sometimes it would turn onto the main highway with bus lanes.

Always love a public transport episode! Will be interesting to see how well the BRT copes with more and more people. I know this would take a fair bit of rebuilding 🫣, but I feel the BRT would be more efficient and comfortable if it was completely flat and the bridges didn’t have bumps in them. It would also make passing any networks underneath them easier

Finally using the backside of a train station as well. I always use those, that have a backside entrance as well, the stations that don't have that feel like a waste to me. i'm still looking for a good train/tram hub to work as a high capacity main station but somehow, i always end up having to patch something together myself.

Bus highway roads are for the meat and potatoes of the highway. They may end a few nodes before the exit. To in America the far right lane is the passing/fast lane.

I wish surface texture mod would work nicely with pedestrian path like airport apron does, I hate that it erases the path instead of merging to it when I have a lot of patchy concrete surfaces on the odd corners of my city that are too small for the apron.

Curious, why do you play/build using right hand traffic? You sure sound British, so I would have thought you'd use left hand as that's what we're used too. Biffa does the same too. 🤔 Is it just a personal preference? The highways with dedicated bus lanes are totally "cattle trucked" up. They've got them the wrong way round. I use left hand traffic, as that's what I know and drive in; but, the game has the bus lanes in what is called "Lane 3" whereas the should be in "Lane 1". They're a complete waste of time, but, they'll probably not ever get fixed as too much time has passed now.
