I found the 90+ speed scramblers are the best all around. I moved one to MLB and he won linebacker of the year as a freshman
@pohorex6834Ай бұрын
I had a guy who played QB freshman year, then got moved to HB his sophomore year when a better overall QB came in, and the old QB played slot receiver on plays with a slot and RB1 when there was no slot. Put up a 1500 rushing-1800 yard receiving season, had 2 games where he had a rushing, receiving, and passing TD. Dude was a beast out of wildcat. Back to back heisman until he became exclusively a slot WR when a better running back came up to play. They need to bring back formation subs so badly
@meast33Ай бұрын
yes I recall looking everywhere within the game for formation subs, thought I was tripping. NEEDS to be in the game, especially this game.

If you're willing to wait a year. Any player with high development will be good at other positions. Qb, rb, and wr make great lb, dbs, and zone safeties. Just make sure the speed is right. Redshirt them for a year and you have a decent dude

I recruited a 4 star athlete scrambling QB. He played QB for me for 1 year after redshirting 1 year and was a backup 1 year. Switched him to RB his senior year. Instant 99 overall rated RB with 95 speed. 😂😂 Crazy.
@KevinStiff86Ай бұрын
I basically had the same type of player, but I switched him to RB after his sophomore year because I had a shortage of backs and other QBs that were good enough to play. He won the Heisman at RB and left after his junior year, even though he was only a projected round pick. I tried convince him to stay, but it didn't work.

Do not change any players position to outside linebaker if its a speed rusher architype. theres a bug in the game (i assume its a bug. it might just be that ea overlooked this) where speed rusher linebackers cant get abilities or upgrade their attributes. you cant even see either of those if you go to their player cards, the tabs under ratings and physical abillities are both blank

There’s times I get like 6 QB athletes must because you have no idea where they’ll play. I got a 95 speed 6’4” TE out of doing this

I usually tend to go after athletes late in the process and find tons of gems. Found two 3 star qb athletes both with low to mid 90's speed and mid to high 90's throw power with mid to high 80s accuracies. Great vid
@thickthorplaysАй бұрын
Great vid! Hadn't really thought about going in that heavily on athletes. Only thing I would say, on some of those guys whose speed is low , especially if they have a good dev trait, they could always get faster. You wouldn't know until you're able to check the skill caps, but they could be a "project " player. I've had players go up a much as 10 points in speed over their career.

I'm doing a little experiment in one of my dynasties. I'm over recruiting those 4/5 star athlete mlbs with 90+ speed and putting them at corner to see how their coverage develops. I don't want them to play corner but if they redshirt and sit for a year, then I move them to SS to play the hybrid/star position. That could wreck the rpos
@carltonbanks5470Ай бұрын
Also 88 speed for a run stopper is very good. They are usually slower than the pass coverage LBs. Also I'd caution against switching offensive athletes to defense. Their play recognition and awareness will usually be so low they are unplayable and speed won't mean anything.

The ATH are the only ones that get better skill bracket possibilities coming out of HS. I look at them as like they are such a good player overall the "scouts" couldn't decide how to use him. ATH's are under recruited by the CPU right now forsure, in a fresh dynasty week 9 i found 3 different 5 star gems ATH that had zero offers
@BidDrop3003Ай бұрын
I’ve been saying this since I started playing college football games they need to have it to where you redshirt a certain player. You can ask them to get to a certain weight, especially now physics is in the game but have a penalty to certain stats if you make them gain too much or too little

If you recruit an ATH MLB and switch him to OLB, be careful and check his ratings as soon as you can. They’re bugged, so you can’t develop them. I think if the archetype changes, the ratings and physical tabs don’t show up at all. It’s so frequent that I don’t usually bother with it anymore. Same with switching guys from LOLB to ROLB.
