They really need to spend time developing ways to introduce this type of info while your playing and some kind of direction for players to get note in an order and do the bosses in an order I think those couple things would make this game way more immersive

We have a base built on SE in the river, where you say that there is a 0% wind. Our base is powered only by the windmill. Am I misunderstanding something?

just to clarify for you. Nowhere on SE is 0% I'm not sure what he was refering to in the end of the video. the lowest amount of wind you can get is 20% and the highest is 100% pretty much the entire dune sea is 100%, all the mountain's and mountain ranges are 85%, and the areas closest to the central river are 20%, everywhere else I believe falls into 65% wind coverage.

I just use the wind turbine for power, doesnt need gas all it needs is a good source if wind, if your on xbox hold the select button and at the top left of ur screen youll see a W the a %20 or higher, then itll gen power, and doesnt break. I hate the generator because it breaks, and cuz of gas, so why not free power by using wind.

Windmills are not even remotely required for survival. If you can find a windy spot they are nice, but not even remotely necessary. Gasoline generators work fine.

I feel like this was unnecessary. Ive been playing since the map launched and outside of the increased fuel life (really unnecessary imo. At 3x rates i have like 1k fuel). But the generators aren't taking damage from my experience. I know they use to, but they aren't currently. Maybe itll get changes, but ultimately this was kind of a useless video for the moment
