i’m signed with a big, very well respected agency in nyc, but whenever i ask to switch up my look or shoot with photographers my agent always says “no i’m developing you, you can’t change your look right now and i only want you working with the best” i feel completely stuck and recently my agent hasn’t been replying to my emails :/

Hi, just came across your vidéo, I would like to point out a couple things, when you signed with an agency, they will take care of the tests and digitals/videos. test is mostly for new faces (test means testing!), it's call developpement. Digitals are required and made by the agency every couple months, and sometime just before a job if requested by the client. also, when you talk about tests, it might be misleading to show Georgia Palmer shooting for what is obviously not a test but a job, or editorial, for Vivienne Westwood I believe. I totally agree with versatility in your looks. I'ts also very important to have a good relationship with bookers, you're so right! but at the end, if the model don't work the agency doesn't make money, and it's not free to represent a model, tests, composites, web, housing etc. you easily reach a few thousand $ even before the model has worked, unfortunately if you don't work after all the agency will ultimately drop you. Ramdom models don't have access to "hight fashion photographers", it's the agency job to book editorials to improve your book, editorials are essentiels to build a career. also, regarding looks, I thing the "Jesus is kin" Kanye West T.shirt, was not a good choice, avoid to impose your believes or political views in front of clients or casting directors. xxx
