TurboTax sucks! I did my 2021 taxes in TurboTax and it said I owed around $900. But then a pro did my taxes and I got $1,100 refund instead. I did my 2019 taxes in TurboTax and the IRS disallowed my claim that I had not received one of the stimulous checks and I had to pay an extra $958 even though I provided fully-documented proof of my claim! I later learned the IRS will screw you unless your taxes are done by a professional. So if you have someone saying they don't need you because they have TurboTax, you have a chance to win over a new customer for life.
