Nice! So glad it was an amazing time. How was the weather? Was it still hot or perfect temps?

Awesome video. Very nice aerials, smooth editing, the narrator should go pro! Been years since I visited. Looks like Hwy S-2 was repaved? Butterfield Overland Stage Route still there? Take the 78 up to Julian, two great places in 1 long day trip.

Thanks so much for the kind words! Really appreciate it. It's my first attempt at doing a voiceover, haha. I think that road was repaved actually. I havent heard of the Butterfield Overland Stage Route before, but looked it up and it looks amazing! Seems people are hiking on it as recent as March! www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/old-overland-stage-route

I have no doubt those bike trails would be awesome. Although, be sure not to overheat out there! I imagine a super early morning ride would be epic.

What campsite would you recommend for a first time visitor?
@AlexRosaGoesOutside

Personally, I really like the free campground, Culp Valley, because it’s pretty secluded up on the mountain and has lots of rocks and a trail nearby, and most campsites have fire pits! But recently I’ve noticed this campground has become pretty popular and it can be harder to find spots on busy weekends. It used to be the best kept secret! Another great campground I like is Borrego Palm Canyon Campground, which you can make reservations for $25/night on reservecalifornia.com. It’s right next to the Palm Canyon trail. Hope this helps :) thanks for watching

What do you like more? Anaza Borrego or Joshua Tree for camping

ooo this is a great question. They both offer something different. I like Anza Borrego for it's more ruggid untouched feel, but Joshua Tree is absolutely stunning
