I feel different, i always thought of confessing, but i always got scared of getting rejected. So instead i just wait for it, and hope for some miracle, i rarely even get a crush. And if i did, i would lose interest on them the next week or so. But one time, i fall in love with someone and i just cant stop thinking about them, they bring me an emotion i havent felt before for so long. I am very confident of my personality and my face since alot of girls on middle school got a crush on me previously. so i just hide my feelings thinking that my crush will fall into my trap instead. The reason why i hate being rejected.. is because the people in my school will literally tease you or make fun of you. And i hate accidentally being in an awkward conversation with them (that is MY worst nightmare) my friends would literally do anything to make me and my crush in an awkward conversation. I feared that it might happen (actually it kinda did but instead i got teased of liking someone else) And the other reason i hate being rejected, is that no matter what happens, i cant move on, my weakness is not letting go. There is always some hope in my heart thinking that there might still be a chance. Thats why even if i got rejected i dont think i would move on very quickly. I rarely feel the emotion of falling in love thats why i dont want my feelings to be crushed. This looks cringe but this is true. Falling in love is an emotion that gave butterflies to my stomach, its like drugs. Its just so addicting, the feeling of liking someone else gives excitement to my every day life, and the risk of losing it all by confessing is so high that its very dangerous to even try. I know that you are stilll supposed to try just to be sure but for me im scared. Im actually a scaredycat that cant get out of his comfort zone. I know that there is 7.8 billion people in this world so you can always try finding someone else later, but that doesnt make any sense for me, i never saw someone as perfect as her. I even search up this video just to think if confessing is good or not, and im happy that some thinks it isnt Well anyway im glad you readed all the way here, and if you somehow say that "you should still try or you would regret it", please dont because its my true feelings! Many people have said this to me and it never even changed my mind and it didnt even help me get rid of this addiction I hope you understand This is just my opinion and we can all have our opinions Goodbye.

Hmmm... I think if you've spent so much time investing effort but you see no results that's when you back up. I don't really like confessing right away, since I want to develop my relationship first. (especially to determine if I'm really into this girl or is this really just a harmless crush). I think you should confess. I did, and she said she just wanted to be friends. It was easier with closure to move on with life. Rather than guessing "does she like me?". Nothing hurts more than seeing your crush with another man. So if you're unsure, just lay your cards on the table. It'll hurt if she isn't interested, but at least you know where she stands and you can start to move on.

But, do you really like them, though? I think that’s the issue here. If you’re already friends with them and know each other well, that’s different. But, if it’s someone you don’t talk to much, you’re basically crushing on the idea of them rather than who they actually are. That’s why it’s so important to get to know someone first before you just lay it all out there. You don’t know them and they don’t know you, so there’s a pretty high likelihood that it won’t go anywhere if you just straight up tell them without getting to know them (the real them) first.

However, if your crush is already with someone else, that would not be a time to confess no matter how much you want to. Reasons of confessing is more like to find out if your crush likes you and if your crush seems available to date. Once your crush is already taken, that should automatic be too late to confess.

I honestly think that you should confess the longer you hold onto those feelings the harder it'll be to accept rejection if that person ends up doing so. While I agree that just telling someone how you feel out of the blue, especially if you don't know them well, is super awkward, I also feel like the advice of "Show them how you feel, don't tell them how you feel" is kind of dangerous advice. You have to take risks, nothing ventured nothing gained. You can approach them talk to them AND give them a letter. To a male that might be corny or wack but if a girl already likes you they would appreciate it. The point is by writing a letter or being direct and trying to converse , that is how you get the chance to get to know them. If you do nothing you automatically lose by default. You might not be in a situation where you can talk so a letter would be good (like if you see her at the library in school for example). Don't go overboard and invest a lot or confess anything. Give them your # or email. Be easy and nice. Bottom line is this : If you are honest and real with someone in a world full of fakes and they don't appreciate that they are a waste of your time.On the other hand, it might open the door for you. Either way, even if it doesn't work out it will make you feel better so do it for yourself.

If you don’t tell them, it’s a possible missed opportunity. They deserve a say in the situation regardless of how likely or unlikely it is. Just don’t come off as desperate/needy and have a mature conversation. If they reject you, be graceful. Don’t get upset/defensive in their presence. I’m not saying do it immediately, give it time. I’ve been crushing on someone for 2 years and I’m gonna tell them soon. We’re pretty close and talk daily but honestly have no clue how they’ll respond but I’d wager a 70% chance I’ll be rejected for a variety of factors. But holding it in all this time just isn’t worth it anymore. And most importantly, I don’t wanna spend the rest of my life wondering if he may have said yes. If our friendship doesn’t survive me telling him, then it wasn’t a friendship worth keeping. Ultimately I think our friendship will be fine, even if the rejection sucks. You move on when you realize it is too late. It depends on a situation as well. Right time to confess to crushes is when your crush appears to be available. A crush who leaves, that is considered too late. A crush who is married or have a fiance, that is considered too late. So normally, if you are going to do this, you do the confessing as soon as possible. If you procrastinate, your crush will be off limits. That is why your heart needs to already be out of your comfort zone. I think its more a matter of when you mention that you like them. If you confess in the beginning when the two of you havent spent time getting to know each other and that person hasn't had a chance to develop mutual feelings for you too, then I think you're ruining your chance too early on.

I confess my feeling to feel relieved one year ago I could not keep it to my self it was hurting me so much more than anything when I told him he refused me I felt sad but not more sad than I was before telling him I begun my treatment on my self try to move on in many ways it went slowly I was hospitalized because of stress by Allah grace 10 month passed I felt ok although did not forget everything but I was able to date which made me feel better ... Now he come told me he love me I know I still have that soft spot for him which i don't know if it will go away but am not desperate anymore I gave him challenge too because am over him in 80 Percent although the relationship I jump on did not last but made me feel great

What I’ve learned from confessing to girls is that they’re gonna feel pressured. I’m sure everything is racing through their minds. Instead of confessing, just tell them you like ‘em and leave it at that and wait for her response. Pouring out your feelings won’t go well sometimes. Again, from my experience at least.

Feels like a creep every time I think about that confession… I am a Chinese, and I had a summer camp for 7 days, and I don’t even know somehow I had a crush on a foreign girl that I only had talked to her a few words, not even a conversation. You must not confess at the cost of becoming a homewrecker. If you see a crush, you should confess when they were available to date. Once you wait til they have a fiance, it is too late to confess. If she wanted you, she should not be getting herself a boyfriend in the 1st place. If you confess now, you will end up sounding like you are competing against her boyfriend. No matter who you confess to, you need to also learn to accept the rejection and move on once you hear the no answer. The rules that apply to you is once you find out your crush has a fiance, do not chase. Think about this. If her boyfriend is present, are you really going to confess right in front of her boyfriend? The answer is no because you will deserve a slap on a face by her boyfriend.

I agree, I only ever tell them if I know there's a chance they'll like me back. If I know they're into someone else or in a relationship I don't say anything. If I'm unsure then I'll do things to test it out and if it looks like they may like me then I'll confess but if you know they just aren't into you then why waste time asking a question you already know the answer too.

One of my friends whom I had a crush on - I wrote him a note some months ago confessing and he received it well, saying that he also really likes me, and in short it came to the conclusion that neither of us were ready to be in a relationship or whatever yet. But we could still hang out and stuff. My crush story: I was in my homeroom and I saw my crush. The cafeteria was in front of my homeroom so he was turned around facing the cafeteria. I got up my seat exited the classroom and tapped his shoulder “Hey, I like you” as soon as I said it I turned around and walked back to my homeroom so no before you ask I didn’t get his reaction *BECAUSE* when I said it I legit turned around and walked away.
