Thank you so much Jayne. I'm curious, which part of my teaching style do you like the most? I'm asking so that I make sure to do more of that, so it helps me improve.

I think on how you specifically teach the techniques on bridging the gap between ideas that is hard for some and making it easier. If that makes sense i hope so

You didn't ask, but I recall an old blog from an Australian who worked in a language learning business. He was keen on "memorizing the phrasebook" as a first step in Anki before adding input. Yes it's not "fluency" but starting with a phrasebook and building off of that, especially if you can make those phrases like a reflex in conversation, is extremely useful, especially as you star to add graded input.

Thanks for sharing that. Yes, I agree that using those phrases or short memorized speeches as a springboard for more fluent speech is a great start. Especially since we often repeat the same phrases over and over again when we meet different people. I actually talk about that in this video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXq5lYKmgthohq8

@@MatthewAlbertoyou speak with clarity, note much serious and not much making jokes. You have charism. And the topics you present are useful, going to the point directly.
