I met my Husband when he was 19 and I was 52. He asked me out right away..I couldn't wrap my mind around it. We became friends and I got to get to know him as well as his family over a long period of time. Eventually we realized we really are soulmates. He's an old soul and has gray hair. No one has ever said we shouldn't be together. What's important is that you are happy. A soul is a soul. If its really love you will know it. Keeping an open mind may bring you unmeasured happiness.

Im 68 and am seeing a man that is 57. I have known him for many years. Im am widowed and never thought about dating someone that much younger. But we have alot in common. We are very open with each other. Something i didnt have with my late husband. I appreciate that so much. He's not afraid to speak his feelings. He's very caring and loving. He is respectful to my feelings. And i give him the same respect. Hes a great person. We talk about anything and everything.

I too am very interested in a man who is nearly 10 years younger we have compatibility, and similar backgrounds. Energy is important. He knows my flaws but accepts me still. However the world has changed but men have not changed with it. Women are doing so much these days. This lady is spot on. Yes they are sexy. And I am sexually attractive.

Your guest is highly confident and articulate. She is a rare bird playing the field like many older men are doing. With that said, I wonder if she avoids committing to one man because that way she can't be betrayed or hurt. The toughness she shows could be a protective barrier. In any event, she appears happy and enjoying her situationships.❤❤❤

Good on Sadie, men of my age usually have less energy than me, but I couldn't date too young, a couple of years younger with a spiritual and fun personality seeking a lifetime partner is the guy for me, as long as we are in alignment. But I love how Sadie is so out there. it's refreshing 😊

I don't specifically seek out younger men; however, i find they are direct and present with a great deal of interest and curiosity and minimal to no baggage 😂. I liked Sadie's comment on permission because I don't think this dynamic is widely accepted. She's definitely a trailblazer and I found this conversation very interesting

This was soo Fun, Thank You Both! "Sadie, Sadie Married Lady...Not!" I Love your FRESH acrymon! Sadie you are a breath of fresh air. As a divorcee in my late 40's, I enjoyed dating younger men as they were the ones who always ask me out, due to my high energy level and taking care of myself (I'm told I look young for my biological age). Now, like Jonathon, in a new stage of my life 60's, I am seeking a long term monogamous relationship, but will never rule out a younger man if we are compatible, we're on the same page and are seeking the same things in life moving forward. 😁👍

I’ve dated younger men and it’s not for me. But I like what she is saying about not wanting to waste time seeking the kind of relationship she has not found in 47 years and wanting to do something different.

Sounds like she’s enjoying her freedom to try different approaches. What I believe in is to be ‘in the game’ sitting around waiting for the perfect person/not accepting reasonable differences when the pool is small to begin with is not conducive to creating and growing a romantic relationship.

That’s the challenge that can come up with younger men, lesser maturity. Plus older men tend to have more tolerance for women they adore. It’s not a perfect world!

Final comment I promise! I LOVED Sadie and that she is in her power!!! And knowing that she wants to feel alive and romantic and not be sad and waiting for a man to come along that so far in appx. 50 years has not. And yes, now that I reflect on my own dating of younger men I also felt more in my power with them. Not in a condescending way, I hope, because it is vulnerable to be the older person physically no doubt. Yet experience wise it's just something that you HAVE more of now, that you did not when you were younger. And with experience and growth comes a natural confidence that at least for me I lacked some in my youthful days. What I am getting from this conversation is that I am going into dating way more intentional and transparent than I ever have in the past. I think it will be better for all involved. These details come out far too long in the process and that just brings misery. So I will be more transparent, and I will be asking way more questions. I'm used to long periods of celibacy, so nothing new there. But for Sadie, who is saying no to that and yes to companionship - You go girl! She wants intimacy, she wants intelligence, flirtations, and fun. What the hell is wrong with that? And to those asking, yes of course there are younger men who are considering long-term relationships with older women. They are not typical, but this is not as rare as some might think. I was recently betrayed by a younger man who left me for a woman 27 years younger than I. But here's the thing. I know I intimidated him. Not intentionally though. But I know he didn't feel like he was on my level and quite honestly he simply wasn't. I am triggered by seeing anything on tv or movies that shows a cheating man and woman now. But I know that my cheating ex went after her for a)sex and b)to escape the insecurity he felt when with me. Yet B - his insecurity with me - was the driving force that led him to follow A. The new girl was not just younger, she was on his level education wise, culture wise, lacking integrity, having similar addiction, etc. Women need to stop thinking that men choose women based on youth and body alone. That's not always the case. Also, can we stop judging women for having sex already? If they are not sleeping with someone who is already in a relationship, then they should be able to have sex without judgment by other women. Or men!

Absolutely be on the same page. Know what you want and go get it. Know thyself! My bf went for a blood test and gave results prior without me even asking, he’s a doctor so I assume that is part of his protocol. I’m always honest in who I am and what I want and expect from a relationship. I encourage them to do the same.

I have probably turned 56 years old. The thing is though the person who I just broke up with is one year older than I am, even though I still love him in my heart of course being a Leo I’m done with someone who stuffs the emotions and the breadcrumbing. I have thought about wanting to meet younger men around the age of 38, 39, or early 40s. This video has made me feel more comfortable to want to pursue that if I wanted to.!!!! I also would be considered a rarity. I have never been married, maybe that’s a good thing because I am waiting in my lifetime for that right partner. I do still want a serious long-term relationship with somebody with that being my situation at this time. i’m trying not to fall back on that hamster wheel with that past person, even though I blocked them it being for the best for me mentally they’re still heavy on my mind. The thing is is that I want to move forward and I am manifesting to move forward for something more aligned with me and what I’m looking for. This interview was actually wonderful in the sense that it gives us older women hope if we want to seek somebody younger, and with that with somebody and I’m just going to be real, that can still get it up, if you know what I mean. I know somebody in my Social circle that just turned 35. When he has hung out with party get-togethers I throw we seem to get one another strangely. Even though he’s younger over 10 years, he still kool with me, but you never know. Thank you for this guest Sadie and your advice as well Jonathan.

Starting in my 40's and now at 52 I was surprised to find younger men asking me out. At first I was so uncomfortable with it, actually embarrassed to be out in public with someone so much younger. The first date I went on with someone probably 20 years younger, a person at the bar asked on behalf of the other attendants if we were on a date. I sat shocked at the direct question, but the man I was with gave a loud and proud yes. I agree with Sadie in that I feel more respected by younger men more often than men my age or older. Of course these are generalizations, but I want to have fun and flirt and have great conversations and with older men there's often this more serious tone, as if they forgot to leave their office managerial interviewing personality at work that day. Stuffy is the word and sometimes condescending. Then there's plenty of younger men who are very immature and will treat you like a body to use as well. But you can usually spot them in the early stages before meeting in person. But I'm not like Sadie. I want a life partnership. I do think I may need to be more like her though and go out more often on the dating scene.

@@Christina528-b6h I thought she seemed agitated and highly defensive. I say to each their own however she wasn‘t giving off confidence vibes to me and seemed to have an armour up about her. I saw a bit of back story about her and this seems to be about her healing something about her sexuality and life experience after divorce. I would prefer interviews on more of a general discussion of the topic instead of this very personal take on things. I really wish her all the best and don‘t mean to judge. She just wasn‘t my „cup of tea“. It reminded me more of Jonathan always saying, „No wonder why its such a cluster f##k out there.😂

Who can understand men? They "decide' who they love & when. Was that ever a possibility for a woman?
@WalksfortheSoul77
@WalksfortheSoul77 6 күн бұрын
Yes it happens quite often that a woman chooses to say no to a man she isn't interested in. I wonder if you are dating or attracted to narcissists most of your life. They do decide who they love and when. They discard. And truthfully they don't really love anyone. So dating too many of them would have you feeling defeated for sure. I just came out of a relationship with a sociopath/narcissist 6 months ago, so I know how devastating it can be. I'd be willing to bet that there are men you would never consider dating, but simply overlooked them so fast, that it never really occurred to you that you also reject people at times.
@mariad1151
@mariad1151 6 күн бұрын
@@WalksfortheSoul77 I am voicing my opinion about what Jonathon & others have said about male thinking. It seems that men "decide" when they are ready to pursue commitment & therefore love. It's a cognitive decision. They have to be in a certain place in their life. It is different for a woman for whom love can occur at the wrong time w the wrong person. It happens. Women only "decide" to love when they are settling.
