Improve on their mistakes and become a better person before they go back into dating. When I met my ex she said her relationships usually last 6 months, and she also says she’s never single… guess what, she treated me like a king for 5 months and then the shit started, we broke up around 6 month mark 😂 I’m certain she’s already on to the next guy…she’s a lovely girl but low values and character due to not knowing better and not being willing to put in the work. If a person you were with jumped onto the next quickly after your relationship then you should be thankful… they were not mentally and emotionally equipt to be a great partner for you as they lack the values and characteristics of a solid long term partner.

We were never officially a couple but there’s no question that we were planning for me to move 2K miles cross country to build a new life with him. In December he even sent me the union agreement for a hospital near his house. Then he made a quick trip home for the holidays and suddenly he got quiet. In January he said that my happiness was more important to him than his own and that his personal life was, “broken in many ways.” He also mentioned that he knew it was possible to love someone and not act on it. I wish I asked him why anyone would do that but I assume he’s learning that lesson the hard way. He’s probably telling himself that he’s doing me a favor. Two years ago he said he wasn’t willing to take me away from my family. I know he’s scared that I might abandon him like his ex wife did for her family.
