Agreed. I got my first sport bike this year and it's mind blowing the stress they go through. I'm pushing 1400 rpms on the regular. And the bike I got is a 2002 Honda CBR. No issues. Rockets down the road like a champ.

@@thegoodobserveryou got one of the best years for a CBR in my opinion. I also love the 2002 gsxr too but I rode them new. The chain of at the perfect tension will last a long while but if its too tight or too loose it will wear out fast.

@@jdholiman9546the sprocket is what decides the rpm’s. If you put a giant sprocket out back and a small one it changes the gearing. If you go bigger and smaller it will make it run 14000 rpm cruising in 5th so the sprocket and chain is what decides how high it runs in rpm and they catch most all of the stress the engine creates

@darukineo Grudge racers do not want anyone to know how fast they are. If someone knows how fast you are and they are faster, they are going to bet big knowing they are likely going to win. If they are slower, they are not going to race you because they know they are pretty much giving you their money. That's why I say mess up their money. It's called grudge racing.

i dont understand or really believe how a 1,000 cc engine can produce 500 or more bhp. In cars, 1 liter engines standard produce like 100 bhp. A turbo 1 liter can make like 200 bhp. I just dont see where you can get FIVE times the bhp. I know the bikes make like 150 bhp or so stock, but even doubling that with turbo only gives 300 bhp. If it was so true then all small engine cars would be making 200 + bhp stock.

A 650cc accelerates identically from a stop. the horsepower matters for accelerating from higher speeds. Like going from 60-150mph
