Just like with Cain and Abel, Cain was very very jealous of Abel and he was so jealous of him that he hated him and killed him out of spite and hatred weaved out of jealousy. Cain was cursed by God to walk the earth for all of eternity with his mark named the mark of Cain as eternal punishment for killing his brother Abel out of jealousy. But the story of Joseph had a happy ending due to his brothers seeing the error of their ways for letting their jealousy of him consume them to the point of them indirectly ruining his life and indirectly causing their father Jacob heartbreak. Joseph's brothers apologized to him and he forgave them. And the story of Jacob, Jacob's twin brother Essau was so jealous of him that he tried to kill him only to have a change of heart due to him seeing the error of his ways and forgive Jacob. Both brothers made amends and the story ended with a happy ending.

I don’t know why, but jealousy is one of my biggest fears when it comes to family. You will never realize until it’s too late, that the people around you won’t lose you, YOU will lose them. This happened to some of our family members that me and my family used to be so close to when me and my sisters were kids. Long story short, they became toxic, and my parents decided to cut ties with them. Needless to say, we’ve never seen, or heard from them ever again. It broke my heart that they became toxic, and even though I got over the grief, it still breaks my heart that this happened, all because they were jealous.😔 Edit - Please, don’t get me wrong. I know they did this to themselves, but still, it just hurts

Nah, I'm good on that. My family exude a level of toxicity that I dipped out as soon as I could. From ruining my credit, to not coming forward when they did a hit n run in MY car, and me getting arrested for it because a witness got the license plate number. They wouldn't even come forward and admit it was them and I have to explain that arrest in every job interview I've had for the last 8 years. (and the rest of them supported him because he made more money than I did, so it was justified for him not losing his job) They can kick rocks. Haven't talked to any of them ever since. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. They don't have my contact information, and never will. They don't know what city I moved to or my phone number, etc. Rather be alone with no support for the rest of my life than ever accept them back into mine
